The two of them hid in the banana grove to escape the heat for a while longer. Waiting until dawn when the temperature dropped to its lowest point, Owen once again carried his mate and continued their journey.
Under unrestricted temperature conditions, the giant snake unleashed its full speed. Its muscles rippled with power as it slithered over the rugged rocks; in the blink of an eye, it flew out of this banana grove, continuing to fly southward following the wind.
As the sun began to peek out, dyeing the horizon red and preparing to raise the temperature once again, this time the giant snake was very lucky to find a waterfall on a towering mountain peak amidst the arid land.
