Jasmine's POV
My vision turned watery as I bolted from the scene, my feet carrying me without conscious direction. The ache in my chest made it impossible to tell which wound cut deeper - Jayden's public dismissal or watching my closest friends turn their backs on me.
I had to escape the whispers, the stares, the suffocating weight of betrayal.
The bathroom door crashed behind me as I stumbled into the furthest stall, collapsing onto the toilet seat. Sobs wracked my body in violent waves, each one more devastating than the last.
Everything had crumbled so fast.
Jayden's rejection stung, but the treachery from Lina, Luis, and Stephen shattered something fundamental inside me. These were the people I'd trusted most, the only constants in my chaotic existence. I'd believed things were finally looking up, but instead everything spiraled into something worse.
