Jasmine's POV
The click of my heels echoed through the entrance hall as I stepped inside, finally home from another exhausting day at work. The familiar sounds of my children filled the space around me as Jeffrey and Naia raced past, their school bags sliding across their shoulders.
Jeffrey was animatedly describing some artwork he had created during art class, his small hands gesturing wildly through the air. Naia responded with her usual melodic giggles, the sound wrapping around my heart like a warm embrace.
"I need to get cleaned up," I announced, pausing to press gentle kisses to both their foreheads. The scent of their hair, sweet and innocent, grounded me after the chaos of the day.
"We'll eat in thirty minutes," I continued, catching Nanny Yasmin's attention as she moved toward the staircase to guide them upstairs.
"Of course, ma'am," she replied with a quick nod, her voice carrying the same respectful tone it always did.
