As a preparation for the entrance exam and the foreseeable future, there is still a week but there is one last thing I need to accomplish. As a leave the house and start my usual morning routines. I start to jog but today, I take a different route which is the way to Takoba municipal beach park located on the coastline. Rampant pollution and accumulated trash coming from the sea for years had turned what once was a beautiful public spot into a junkyard. Upon arrival in the area, the once trash heap has been cleaned but there is still a few around which was being collected by a teen with round face, framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair which curls up at odd angles around his head, casting noticeably dark shadows onto itself. His eyes are large and somewhat circular and his irises are the same shade of green. This is Midoriya Izuku, the protagonist the manga and anime, My hero Academia. Upon learning and experiencing this world, I decide not to have any contact with the main protagonist as much as possible. Having me here already cause a butterfly change and surely when it flap it wings, changes to unknown may occur. Midoriya Izuku's life and upbringing has to many complexities that one wrong move will surely have it's consequences. That's why I didn't contact him, the treatment of quirkless people, his life that no one believe him that he can be a hero, his only friend turns to his bully which always use his quirk to blast him and worst suicide baited him just by taking the UA entrance exam and unknown factors that I'm sure that are negative factors to him. Just by thinking that I live in his place, I may sway to just let go, turn vigilante or worst villainy because of this damn world. I'm not against him but more I respect him, as a human who even the world was against him he didn't turn his back and live up for his dreams and still lives positively in which the quirk of one for all is destined to be in his hands. As I try to leave he noticed was someone was standing above the wall and looking at him I just smile and said good luck hero and take care which he looks confused but didn't explain and continue to job on the way home.
A week passed by and today is the start of entrance exam of UA as I prepare myself and went down to eat my breakfast, mom, dad and Daichi was already there. After I ate and was about to go out, Dad, mom and Daichi encourage me to do my best and I replied with a thank you and I'll do my best. I walk to the station and ride a train to go to UA high school. The entrance has a large metallic wall and gate. Upon entering the campus, there are already a huge number of students who are all applicant to enter in various course such as the department of heroics, general education, support, business, management and etc.
The exam consist of two parts written and practical. The written exam is schedule to start at 8:00 to 12:30 with consist of the general subjects such as English mathematics, abstract reasoning and lastly an essay. The written exam is normal nothing unusual that warrants attention including an essay that informs their understanding of heroics, quirk related theory and studies which I'm sure is included in gathering Intel for their students in preparation of handling them when they were accepted in the hero course. As I submit my papers. I enter the cafeteria to eat and saw Tenya was already there. I sit across him and try to eat too since I need the energy for the afternoon practical exams. There is not much too noise as consideration to the applicants which is common tone in the cafeteria.
After we eat we are gathered in a hall for orientation of the practical exams. It was the voice hero Present Mic who will give the instructions for our exams. Suddenly Present Mic " To all examinees out there, welcome to my live performance everybody say HEYYYYYYY!!!!" But the room silence was prominent due to the nervousness of examinees. So cold 🥶 🥶
To the examinees out there I'll give you a quick rundown of the practical exam. With his loud voice "Are you ready YEAHHHHHHH!!!". Some who are nervous try to say yeah with a hint of panic but just a reply but me no. I am nervous too that's why I shout and reply YEAHHHHHHH!!! Present Mic say "Thank you what a wonderful audience" He then pulled out a remote and pressed a button, causing a projector to shine to life and show a screen with four outlines on it.
Upon listening and understanding the form we are given ten minutes to use our Quirks to immobilize robotic villains in order to score points depending on the individual robot's point value. The more points one examinee earns, the higher their chance of passing such retro.The examinees have limited time and must cover a vast area without knowing how many villain bots there are or where they're located. Hmmm a psychological trickery.
Candidates are not allowed to fight other candidates. Doing so results in disqualification. Students hailing from the same middle school are placed in different testing areas to avoid potential cooperation as such when Tenya's number is 7111 with area B mine was number 7112 with area C. While I was thinking suddenly Excuse me!" said by Tenya, standing up in the crowd behind them. "The pamphlet clearly stated that there would be three robots. Seeing that there are indeed four robots clearly shows a misprint on your behalf and looks poorly upon UA! Also, you with curly green hair," he said as he pointed at Midoriya It is very distracting! If you aren't going to take this seriously, you should just leave now." The boy watched as the green-haired boy ducked his head. Tenya must be nervous too since he is rigid right now hehehe 😁😁. Now then, the fourth robot is worth zero points and is merely an obstacle for you to avoid, as it's sole purpose is eating up your remaining time. With that I send you off with our famous words: GO BEYOND!"
At that the entire auditorium replied, "PLUS ULTRA!"
As I stand in the gate of examination area C. I calm myself by breathing then All right! You kids ready?" Present Mic Yelled out from his stage. As he yelled out the gates slowly opened. "Go." I run immediately and gather vapor in my left hand and conjure a set of chain and smash the robots along the way while running to the center area
Everyone looked up at him confused.
"What are you standing around for? There's no countdowns in real life. Look at him, he has the right idea!"
They followed where Mic had pointed and saw the ash grey-haired boy who smack a robot with chains. At that, they took off after him clamoring for a chance to get their own points. Upon arriving the center area, I know it, more robots and higher points are in the inner area than the city perimeter. I swing my arm left and right up and down like dancing and use the chains to destroy the robots one by one. Taking time to breath as I finish the area of robots "roughly 6 minutes left and estimated 37 villains". As I jog and destroy the robots I meet onwards to a different area, I saw a few applicants with a broken arm and a girl who sprain her ankle. Shocking 😱 😱 UA exam is really no joke!! I can't just leave them they are crying and in ache with the pain. I decided to use the healing thumb chain or holy chain to heal them immediately. Upon seeing and confirming that they are fine, they thank me and I said see ya and proceed to my exam. I know that there are rescue points but I will not strategically used them but when you saw them in pain AHHHHHHHHH!! I don't care anymore, well just think of today's exam as training for becoming a hero.
As I destroy robots around the exam area while looking if there are any injured person that warrants immediate action then I saw a boy with a twisted leg AHHHHHHHHH! What happen to you to have such injury, I'm not a medical practitioner in my past life but a finance seriously, I immediately heal it using holy chain then suddenly a minute left the exam, an enormous robot walk from the outer perimeter destroying anything in its path. SH*T!!! SO ANNOYING!! Are they trying to kill the applicants. There are already applicants that has minor injury which I didn't heal along the way, but to continue like this. BULLSH*T!!!! I run toward the enormous robot and shout the loudest of my voice RUNNNN!!!!!!! Most starts to run while there are those that are frozen by fear I nudge them with my chains to run while I was near the zero pointer, I need to buy time until the end of the the exam. I'm concentrating the vapor in the conjured chain then coat it with substance that immediately dissolve metal upon contact then swing to each of the joints of the robot which it's feasible weakness. Upon contact and wrapping my chains to both of it's arms, the metal immediately dissolve and the arms fell and the robot start to slow down upon taking damage. Next the neck, I swing my left arm to wrap the chains around the neck area which destroy the head of the robot then TIMES UP!!!!!! An alarm rang around the exam area. I cancel my chains and sigh. What an exam and an unforgettable experience even if you combine my past life.
I saw Tenya and ask how was the exam, a little tired but I think I did well. Hmmmm me too, when the adrenaline rush was flush in the body I felt quite lethargic. As we went home and gave goodbyes I arrive home and ate dinner my parents and Daichi ask how was the exam and just reply fine and so tiring which they accept based on my tired face. I went to my room and start thinking that even thou that I try to relax during the exam, countdown which stamp your focus, the fear roaming the examination area which makes me exhert more energy and the atmosphere of defeating robots which are trying to attack you makes you want to run. Even I'm prepared and trained, experiencing such magnitude for the first time will not give me the expectation that I perceive. After such contemplation, I succumbed to sleep.
