"What is it you want from me, grandpa Eryndor? " I questioned him with annoyed voice and expressions. He was just too stubborn for me to handle. I didn't pay any attention to Vaelion's words, they were just nit of any importance to me.
Vaelion frustrated by my actions saw it as a violation against his reputation and so he spoke up with a loud voice, "You insolent brat! Do you eve-" but of course before he could finish speaking, grandpa Eryndor cut him and spoke to me in a calm and composed voice, "Luna wintersong, do you know why we have called for you? "
It was the same question as Vaelion's but when he asked me this question it holded more meaning and importance compared to that of Vaelion's. This time I prefered to answer this question with my hands crossed below my chest and tapping on the ground with the edge of my right feet, "Well, what I can think of is that you guys have called me for support on the front line, am I right? "
Eryndor took a breath, it was a deep breath. And then he spoke with the same composed voice, "You are mostly right. Yes, we have called you for your support on the front line but there is another reason too. "
He was testing my patience and that was the least I wanted him to do. I never like someone testing my patience, I never really had it. It was a waste of time to me and it annoyed me a lot.
I spoke but this time my voice itself told grandpa Eryndor that I was annoyed by his way of having a conversation, "And what it is? ", realising the way I spoke to him, he opened both his eyes and looked at me with feebleness.
Reacting to my way of speaking to him, he changed his way of having this conversation and spoke with a composed voice again, " We want you to train our soldiers and share your knowledge of combat and magic skills to them. Also with that we want you to fight on the front lines and prevent the murim from invading our village. "
I asked with cold expressions and a voice which told him that I didn't care at all about his request, "And why should I? I am not even the part of this village. "
Eryndor stroked his beard before speaking as if thinking for right words but it only took him a second to find the words, "Isn't it obvious? Your village will also face this situation if we fall. And if we fall then it would disrupt the balance in the nature of this realm which would result in natural disasters—and at the worst case scenerio it would actually wipe out the Elf race. "
These words were enough to convince a novice and a stupid person. But not me because I knew that half of the part was actually a lie. The four elf races—Ice Elf race, Volcano Elf race, Land Elf race and the Forest Elf race maintained the nature of this world controlling our own part and doing our own part of work to maintain the neutrality and passiveness in this world. If the Forest Elf race gets annihilated then yes, it would affect the nature and would cause some disasters but they won't be enough to wipe out the rests—though we might actually have to face some casualties in the worst case scenerio but the total annihilation was impossible alone from the disasters.
And so with more coldness in my voice, I answered to his senseless arguement, "You cannot convince me with these stupid words, grandpa Eryndor. The disasters alone won't be able to annihilate the rest of the three races. And I am not saying that your race doesn't hold any meaning to us—yes, we are willing to help you but you can't really just go and order me to fight on the front line. To fight on the front line or not—that would be my own decision. As for the training of your soldiers I will do that happily. "
There was a silence in the room. I looked at Elwyn from the corner of my eyes who finally got a bit comfortable in the presence and mana pressure of the elders of the village. Though he had no courage to speak in between stating his own point of views.
Eryndor stroked his beard couple of more times. He didn't a say thing anymore nor the other elders. They all just remained silent, their eyes closed.
The silence had started to creep me out.
"Now can we please get to the main reason of why you all called for me? " I spoke killing the silence around me. Actually those things were not actually the main reason of my arrival in this village. The reason these elders put up infront of the elders of my village was totally different from the one they put up infront of me.
Eryndor finally stopped stroking his beard and replied with a firm voice this time, "Sure. Let's finally discuss some strategy for the upcoming battle. And as for the decision you talked about, I will be looking forward to the decision you will make. "
I didn't reply. I straighten my arm and took a step ahead with my eyes closed. After walking couple of steps I grabbed the head of the chair infront of me and sat on it. Elwyn was still standing back not being able to move.
Eryndor looked at him with his left eye and again with the firm voice spoke, "You should also come and sit down, Elwyn. If you are going to act like this then how am I supposed to pass down the next head of the village position to you? "
I looked at Elwyn with the corner of my eyes and his face looked like as if he was going to say something but stopped mid way and prefered to remain silent.
Then I looked towards the rest of the elders and after hearing Eryndor talking about the position of the next of the village, there was some kind of uneasiness on their face. But as I was not part of this village I didn't pay much attention to it.
Elwyn came forward, grabbed the head of the chair beside mine and before sitting on it he called for the map with the markings on it of the soldiers of this village fighting with the murims.
The map was of the territory of the Forest Elf Village and there were small red lines drawn from a red marker on it which showed the area where the base of the Forest Elf Soldiers were situated and ahead of those red lines were many cross marks which showed the main battle ground.
The murims wanted to take control over the Forest Elf Village and make the Forest Elfs succumb to them and become their slaves for their players. But as Forest Elves didn't want that they put up a war with them and it was still going on.
Elwyn finally sat down and started talking in place of his father as if he wanted to show his qualifications for the position of the next head of the Forest Elf Village.
"Well, our soldiers are greater in number if compared to the enemy side. But the problem here is that many of our soldiers' cultivation level is not high and so they are not much of good use in the war. Most of them are not even able to take down a player even if they work in a big group and so we are losing our soldiers at a rapid rate. And if we compare our casualties to the enemy side then it is 12 times more than that of the enemy side. "
I totally understood his points and it was expected as the Elf Realm always has been a peaceful one and so many didn't think of cultivating to higher levels. But after the coming of these players we are facing a lot of problem but not all players are bad, such as Airu.
"And so you want me to train and share my knowledge with your soldiers, right? " I asked while looking at Elwyn. This question was for him.
He looked at me with the corner of his eyes and exhaling a deep breath answered, "Yes.That is exactly the reason for our selfish request. "
Hearing his words, Vaelion was disturbed and so he barked, "What!? Self—"
But he was stopped by the firm voice of Eryndor, "Let him talk. "
I looked at Elwyn with the eyes of pity, 'Now I understand why he is always so nervous to be around these elders. '
These elders except Eryndor were rotten to their core. All they could think was of their own gain and that was to be expected. When a person recieves a lot of power and influence over a certain territory, there's a high chance that they would first think of themself rather than making that territory more better.
The map was big and to cover all the points on it Elwyn had to stood up from his position and walked 2-3 steps ahead. He took out a long wooden stick from his inventory to point at the points out of the reach of his hands.
There was a black cross mark on the map. And it was bigger than the rest of the cross marks.
Just like his father, he spoke with a firm voice which his left hand behind his back and right hand holding on the stick and his body a bit bent towards the map, "As you all can see this black cross mark. This is the position where our strongest army faced against the murims army, we did win this point but we also had the greatest casualities here. "
After hearing his words Fynral opened his eyes and replied with a arrogant voice, "What do you expect kid? Yes, that was our strongest army but can't you see that our enemy side was as strong as ours? What if we had casualities, at the end we won that place. And that was all we needed from that battle. "
Elwyn looked at him with disturbed eyes. He was annoyed by his words and this time he didn't let his nervousness take over him and so with a more strong voice he spoke some senses into Fynral, "I do understand your point. But what I believe is that if we had planned a bit better than we would have still won that battle but with very less casualities. "
Fynral with furious voice replief to Elwyn, "Then you are saying that we didn't take our soldiers' lives in account and just planned a strategy which did win us that battle but guided them to their death which could have been avoided? "
Elwyn with eyes closed, standing straight with the stick in his right hand and the tip of the stick resting on his left hand spoke a single word, "Indeed."
All the elders except Eryndor stood up from their chair in rage and looking at Elwyn Vaelion spoke, "You inso—"
But again Eryndor spoke and cut him in between, "All of you, sit down. " his voice holded so much influence and pressure that they all at first froze at their position and in a second they all sat down silently.
Eryndor looked at him, stroking his beard spoke, "Luna Wintersong, you've heard what my son had to say. And with the amount of praise the elders of your village give you, I believe you can suggest a good strategy for that battle—one that turns out exactly the way my son described. Isn't that right?"
I closed both my eyes and spoke with a composed voice, "Of course I can. "
And just like that hours passed. I told them more and more battle tactics and strategies even for the upcoming battles and they all listened like a kid because of Eryndor's presence.

AIRU
"Huff.. huff... hufff.... "
"Around 3 hours and all I did was waste it. It was totally pointless to try and control this heavy sword with my light-weighted Rodrigo's Wrath. "
I was full in sweat, tired, and frustrated. Because all I did for the 3 hours was try to control and sync the attacks of these two weapons—Rodrigo's Wrath and Sword Of Miscellaneous Saplings together but I failed because the Sword Of Miscellaneous Saplings was a lot heavier in comparison to Rodrigo's Wrath and it was very difficult to handle them together.
I was breathing heavily after all those efforts, my body was full of sweat which was making me cold by the touch of the cold breeze around me.
Both my swords were on the ground and my hands were on my knees as my back was a bit bent towards the ground because I was tired. There was actually a screen flickering infront of my face which did reduce my frustration a bit.
[The profeciency of your weapon{Sword Of Miscellaneous Saplings}.....]
