Charles woke up to a yell that was very familiar. Jessie and Charles wake up. Yet when he opened his eyes the worst migraine of his life was his only sensation. Didn't even have enough time to be joyous from last night's adventure.
Jessie stood up and looks over. Trying to get out of school. I've tried that millions of times. She'll never fall for it. It felt as if his brain was being pierced with an ice pick. As soon he started to get up to tell Deneen that he had a mind piercing headache it seemed to dissappear.
Yet he realized as he was going thru his daily routine his mind was more focused. He felt as if he were always in a fog but now it felt as if it thinned just a little. His thoughts came out more expeditiously than ever.
Unlike his siblings he skipped breakfast and it didn't surprise anyone. He almost never ate that early. As he was leaving the house he noticed the girl next door staring but she usually just ignored him. Even when he would say something as simple as HI he would get no response. Her name was Tina. Charles always thought she was cute. She was around 4'5" inches.Thick in all the right spots. But the most definitive characteristic was that booty.
Charles sick of being ignored decided to just walk past her because of his new found perspective on respect. She stepped in his way and asked Charles would you like to walk to school today. Charles responded sardonically. I am walking to school. She said no with me and grabbed his arm.
Charles and his inexperience with women. Its not like he could say no. Plus he always liked her.
So as they're walking Charles asks so why the change of heart? Tina's response is what do you mean? Charles then says you've ignored me ever since we were little children. Tina says I never ignored you I always responded. Its just for some reason I couldn't control myself today.
Charles then realized that all these women of all ages just keep staring at Tina. He asks do you know these people? She let's go of Charles arm then runs off. He yells wait why are you running. Then starts to chase after her but runs into this weird old guy in a haiku. What made him weird who wears a haiku in the middle of inner city Philadelphia. He made the man drop his box and everything fell out. So Charles couldn't just run off he was raised better than that.
He helped the guy pick up all his things. Then gave him a simple apology. Im sorry sir I was in a hurry and should have been watching where I am going. The old guy replied its okay. Im surprised you stopped its no way I would've stopped when a pretty girl runs suddenly after holding me so close. Then said don't be mad man I just speak my mind and can see the anger in your eyes. Here take this as a consolation prize and tossed it to him. Charles with very little athletic ability dropped it. Luckily it was inside of a box. The old guy replied im daichi im opening a shop around maybe I'll see you again. Charles response was expected hopefully not because of you she got away. Daichi just smiled and said I bet whatever is in the box makes up for it. Charles said whatever man. Yet Charles curious realized the box felt familiar and started to open it. Charles shocked the exact mask that Oni gave him in his dream. When he looked up daichi was gone. A note attached saying my patron asked me to pass this along. As of now it is useless. He will teach you its purpose. He said don't worry she loves you man.
