As Charles sat there trying to find the words. All you could see was frustration because from the outside in poetry seems simple and easy. Yet finding words that rhymed were not. Explaining something with minimal word usage was not.
So Oni poured him a cup of tea and told him it would help him to relax. As Charles sipped the tea. Oni smirked again knowing that tea is disgusting and is an acquired taste. Charles trying to be respectful said. This tea has a unique taste but it does seem to be calming. Oni laughed but not any kind of laugh anyone had heard before. It was as if thunder was booming. When he saw the shock on Charles face he laughed even harder.
When Oni finally calmed down. He urged charles to finish his tea. Then continue with his poem. Charles gulped it down so he wouldn't have to put up with a taste like chewing freshly cut grass. Charles continued his first attempt a poem that was more than just rhymes.Yet unlike before the words just seemed to flow.
If I was as bloodthirsty as you say
Then how did you all live to see today
Im angry because your ignorance causes confusion
While the wise always feel as though may lose it.
Gold and diamonds is what you were after
My real treasure would cause disaster
Respect is what I've been tripping over
Disrespect me and you better run for cover
Only a loving soul could I call a brother
Before Charles could write another word. To his surprise the scroll transformed into a mask. It was a green mask with black horns and black fangs with gold trim around the mouth and horns. Charles still not used to Magick or the spiritual world was dumbfounded. Then asked where did my poem go. Oni replied you don't need it. Its why I wanted you to write it in the first place. You earn spiritual artifacts they are not given.
You can't take this out of this world but you may be in for a surprise when you get back home. Time is almost up anyway.
Charles asked can you at least give me an explanation on how the words just flowed so easily after hours of nothing? Oni replied yes. Tea is the most basic form of medicine. Yet only someone with spiritual powers can bring out its full potential. It increased your mental powers. Charles started to ask another question but was cut off by Oni. We are out of time.
