The World Reacts to Fire Shadow"
The Villains, Governments, and Shadows Demand Answers
When Damian fell unconscious and the Justice League carried him from the battlefield, the world only saw one thing:
A young fire-wielding warrior who nearly killed Doomsday—
and whose flames reached the sky like a second sun.
The League confirmed only two things publicly:
Fire Shadow is Batman's son.
His powers come from an ancient artifact he discovered during his travels.
(Bruce repeated Damian's half-story exactly.)
That was enough to calm civilians.
But not the ones in the shadows.
Not the people who rule the world behind the scenes.
Not the villains.
Because THEY knew something was very, very wrong.
1. Lex Luthor — Panic Disguised as Scientific Curiosity
Lex had rewritten the footage a thousand times.
He compared Damian's flames to Kryptonian heat vision, nuclear ignition, even magic.
None of it matched.
He slammed his fist on his desk.
"Artifacts don't do that.
Children don't do that.
THIS SHOULDN'T BE POSSIBLE!"
Mercy stepped back as Lex paced like a caged lion.
"Batman said it was an artifact," she reminded him softly.
Lex turned sharply.
"Batman lies.
Artifacts don't create omega-class energy signatures.
Artifacts don't let CHILDREN hurt Doomsday."
He stared at the hologram of Damian mid-strike, flames ripping the earth apart.
"So what are you, boy?
A meta?
A failed Kryptonian experiment?
A new evolution of mankind?"
Lex smiled.
It was not a comforting smile.
"I will find out.
No matter what."
2. Vandal Savage — Fascination, Not Fear
Vandal stood alone in his stone chamber, watching the flame pillar.
His expression was serene.
Almost reverent.
"A child who carries the fire of gods…"
He placed a hand on the glowing screen.
"The timeline bends.
This world is different now."
He chuckled.
"Batman's son… a being of fire.
Beautiful."
Then, quietly:
"We must either guide this child…
or destroy him before he becomes a threat to the natural order."
A shadow stepped forward.
"Which, my lord?"
Savage smiled softly.
"Both."
3. Ocean Master — Outraged
Orm slammed his trident into the floor, cracking coral stone.
"A SURFACE CHILD wields the power to burn an ocean from the sky?!
How did Atlantis not know of this?!"
His soldiers knelt, trembling.
"Your Majesty… the Justice League says it was an artifact—"
"LIES!"
Orm roared a tidal wave through the chamber.
"If a surface child becomes stronger than Atlantis,
then we must break him before he grows."
He pointed his trident toward the surface on a hologram.
"This 'Fire Shadow' will learn respect…
or drown."
4. Queen Bee — Intrigued and Very Interested
Queen Bee leaned forward on her throne, eyes glowing gold.
"A young male with extraordinary abilities…
a perfect candidate for my hive."
Her attendants bowed.
"Majesty, shall we attempt recruitment?"
Queen Bee smirked.
"Oh no…
Not yet.
Let his power grow."
She licked her lips lightly.
"Then we take it."
5. Klarion the Witch Boy — Confused and Angry
Klarion screeched so loudly Teekl flattened her ears.
"THAT ISN'T MAGIC!
IT'S NOT ALIEN!
IT'S NOT CHAOS!
WHAT IS HE?!"
He floated upside down above a giant magical screen showing Damian's flame pillar.
"A CHILD SHOULD NOT HAVE NEW POWERS!
I DIDN'T APPROVE THIS! THE UNIVERSE DIDN'T APPROVE THIS!"
Teekl meowed.
Klarion snarled.
"Shut up, Teekl!
I hate him!
I MUST MEET HIM!"
He grinned with manic excitement.
"If I can't understand him…
I want to play with him.
Break him.
Or keep him."
Teekl meowed again.
"YES, WE'RE GOING TO VISIT THE BAT FAMILY SOON!"
6. The Light — Furious They Missed Him
When the hologram of Damian's flames faded, every Light member sat in stunned silence.
Vandal Savage finally spoke:
"How did we miss him?"
Lex growled.
"I checked every database.
Every meta registry.
Every artifact archive."
He slammed his palms on the table.
"Batman HID him."
Queen Bee tapped her chin.
"Or the boy hid himself."
Deathstroke leaned back.
"Either way…
This is unacceptable."
Savage's eyes glowed faintly.
"A new omega-class power has emerged.
Unmonitored.
Uncontrolled.
And unaligned."
He leaned forward.
"The Light will not tolerate unknown forces.
Find the boy.
Understand him."
Then, voice cold:
"Or eliminate him."
7. The League of Assassins — Shock and Anger
In the mountains, Talia stood before Ra's al Ghul as he watched the pillar of fire on a Lazarus Pool projection.
Ra's turned to her slowly.
"You never informed me the child possessed such power."
Talia bowed respectfully.
"He didn't.
Not when I raised him."
Ra's eyes narrowed.
"Then where did this power come from?"
Talia hesitated.
"He said… he found an artifact."
Ra's hissed.
"Artifacts do not rewrite destiny."
Lady Shiva stepped forward.
"The boy is beyond any assassin.
His power is… unnatural."
Ra's placed a hand behind his back.
"Bring him to me."
Talia's eyes widened.
"Father—"
"He is my grandson.
He belongs to the League.
And now he is the most dangerous child on Earth."
His eyes glowed with ambition.
"I will shape him…
or I will break him."
8. Amanda Waller — Terrified and Strategic
Amanda Waller stared at the screen, arms crossed, expression unreadable.
Behind her, Task Force X soldiers trembled.
One muttered:
"A kid… did THAT?"
Waller didn't blink.
"Get me everything on Fire Shadow."
Her agents rushed.
"Meta-gene analysis?"
"Alien DNA screen?"
"Magic signatures?"
Waller slammed her fist on the table.
"ALL OF IT."
She narrowed her eyes.
"Batman lied to us.
There is NO artifact that grants that level of destructive power."
She leaned in toward the footage.
"…What are you, boy?"
9. The President of the United States — Concerned and Pressured
The President sat with his Joint Chiefs, watching the pillar of fire.
"Is this boy a threat to national security?"
A general swallowed.
"Sir… he could level a city."
Another added:
"The Justice League vouches for him—"
"That's not enough."
The President massaged his forehead.
"We need to know what Batman's son actually is."
He looked out the window.
"And how many more like him exist."
**The World Has One Question…
AND NO ONE CAN ANSWER IT.**
WHAT IS FIRE SHADOW?
A metahuman?
A magic user?
An alien hybrid?
A weapon?
A god?
Something new?
Every shadow organization, every villain, every government wants the truth.
But the only one who knows anything—
is Damian himself.
