**Scene 18: "Labib's House"**
Labib… here he is again, playing music for the sun so that it may rest behind the horizon. I don't think it will sleep without hearing his music; it has really gotten used to it, as it is one of his friends, if you remember.
While he was playing… his brother came over and sat beside him, and Labib stopped playing.
He said: "Do you see that mountain over there?… No doubt the village lies directly behind it… I will go there…
I miss the horse, the streams, and the fish… I am tired of school, the constant scolding, and the mocking laughter."
Brother: "It hasn't been two days since you went there… Besides, we go to the village every weekend…
You will not go there alone on foot… Even though it seems close, that mountain is very far…
And how do you know the village is behind it?… You will get lost, believe me."
Labib (stubbornly): "Yes, I will go."
Brother: "Furthermore, it's not far… On the road leading to that mountain, there is a farm with an evil farmer who raises geese, and the geese attack children."
Labib: "Really?"
Brother: "And there are fierce dogs guarding the farm… The mountain has a forest, and in the forest there are wolves."
Labib: "I've changed my mind."
Brother: "Aren't you going?"
Labib: "No… Brother, I feel hungry."
Labib and his brother entered the house, which was very simple in every way, showing only two things: poverty and misery.
The brother searched and searched, then said: "I found some butter. Come bring a loaf of bread."
Labib (happily): "Really… okay… here is the bread."
The brother put a little butter on the bread and said: "Here you go."
Labib: "Thank you."
