Chapter 34 - scene 33

**Scene 33 "Kingdom of Thunder" "The Castle"**

*They returned to the protected land... Now Tagar was alone in the castle with Lord Joser, and it seemed that the image of the Horror Beast was still etched in Tagar's mind and could not leave his eyes. So he asked Lord Joser a question.*

**Tagar:** Lord Joser… Who is the Tamer of the Fierce Horror Beasts?

*Joser answers, recalling events from the past:*

**Joser:** A fierce warrior who knows no mercy, called the Ruler of Horror Mountain…

It was the place where the powerful and stubborn Horror Beasts resided…

At that time, facing the Ruler of Horror Mountain or his pets was not an easy task…

The Ruler of Horror Mountain possessed the **Gates of Transition**…

He had taken them by force from Master Eosin, the Guardian of the Fifth Foundation "Gates of Transition."

Nodpark once tried to take those gates from him in the past but could not…

He nearly met his end between the fangs of a Horror Beast.

**Tagar:** Why didn't Nodpark exile him? (For Nodpark possesses the **Gates of Exile**, doesn't he?)

*Joser continues, going back into the past:*

**Joser:** Master Jorawi, the Guardian of the Third Foundation "Gates of Exile," had not entrusted them to Nodpark yet…

So Nodpark's end would have been near if it weren't for the **Sword of Mist**, which protected him.

**Tagar:** Lord Joser… The sword cannot help if it is not in the hands of its chosen bearer… And Nodpark is not the true owner of the Sword of Mist… How then did it protect him?

*Joser continues, recalling the past:*

**Joser:** Master Newgen, Guardian of the Seventh Foundation "The Seven Swords," entrusted me with the **Black Sword** and the **Sword of Mist** to protect them along with Nodpark until they were safe in the hands of their true owners…

The **Dragon Mist** spoke that day from inside the sword's sheath, saying: The loyalty of the dragon (to its bearer) is equal to the loyalty (of the sword) to its chosen one… And it released a thick, extraordinary mist, saving its bearer, Nodpark…

Many unknown years have passed, and the mist remains there to this day…

Then the warrior **Nilufer Taif** attempted to seize the last three remaining **Gates of Transition**, and I was alongside him…

We managed to contain the last Horror Beast you saw… And just before Nilufer could draw the power of the Ruler of Horror Mountain…

In a fleeting moment, the Ruler of Horror Mountain transported Nilufer to another world, outside the **Gate of the Unknown**, via a **Gate of Transition**, leaving him with only two gates.

**Tagar:** Lord Wawzin possesses two **Gates of Transition**, and he gave one to his friend Nodpark in the past… So how did Master Wawzin manage to get the remaining two?

**Joser:** Because Wawzin…

*Before Joser could continue, Lord Wawzin entered,*

**Wawzin:** Tagar… Would you allow us to be alone for a moment? I have something to tell Joser.

*Tagar takes the **Warrior's Salute** and presents it, saying:*

**Tagar:** Respect and honor to you both.

*Then he steps aside, and Lord Wawzin addresses Lord Joser:*

**Wawzin:** Were you about to tell my student something without my knowledge?

*Joser smiles and replies:*

**Joser:** Forgive me… but he will know one day anyway.
