Chapter 33 - scene 32

## **Scene 32 — "The Heart of the Galaxy — The Planet of Dark Clouds — The Kingdom of Thunder — Beyond the Protected Land"**

Jawsar the ruler stood together with the warriors Ned and Tagar before an enormous mountain.

The face of the mountain was like a massive stone wall, impossibly tall, with a narrow slit running all the way up its height—just wide enough for a person to slip their fingertips inside it.

Jawsar had brought Ned and Tagar to this place to reveal to them a secret of the past…

One of the greatest secrets of his life as an elite warrior of unmatched mastery.

He stepped closer to the mountain, slid his fingertips into the slit, and pushed.

The gigantic stone plate—the entire face of the mountain—shifted aside and opened like a colossal double door.

Ned and Tagar gasped in shock.

Behind that hidden gateway stood **countless warriors and beasts**, imprisoned within barriers of energy that looked like transparent glass.

They were **alive**, able to see, hear, and speak—or roar—but unable to take even a single step.

Jawsar said:

"These are only *one group* among many that I have sealed away—

warriors with violent desires…

and pure beasts whose power and ferocity cannot be controlled.

I have also imprisoned the most dangerous of all…

the black rot beasts."

He continued:

"Each of these countless gates is powered by my energy.

They remain active only because they constantly feed on a portion of my strength."

Ned thought to himself in utter disbelief:

*Each one of these uncountable prison barriers… consumes part of Lord Jawsar's power… constantly…

Then how immense was his power before he created even one of them?*

Jawsar went on:

"And if I ever sink too deep into the earth—

if my energy reaches zero—

all these prison gates will shatter,

and everything you see here will be freed.

If that happens, the people of the Land of Thunder will depend on **you two** to protect them."

Ned and Tagar instantly took the Warrior's Salute:

"Honor and respect to you."

Jawsar:

"Why do you honor me?

For my strength?

For my skill?"

Tagar answered:

"No one should be respected for the power they possess…

but for the *good* they do with it.

We honor you for that—

and for your mind, your principles, and all the nobility you taught us."

Ned added:

"And for your defense of the good…

and for helping those in need.

Honor and respect to you."

Jawsar replied:

"If your answer had been anything else…

if you had bowed to me *because of my power*—

I would have killed you in a way neither of you has ever imagined.

Power fades…

the body fades…

but the spirit rises and remains pure through good deeds.

My salute to you both."

The two warriors stood straight, and Jawsar continued his tale of the distant past:

"The destruction that once struck the Land of Pulse was caused by the clash of desires among warriors.

It is known as the **Great Clash of Desires**—

and also because the fighters of the unknown were nearly equal in power."

"So the great master Ordovici—

the Guardian of the Eighth Foundation,

'The Eight Riddles'—

found only one solution…

To separate the Eight Riddles from the stone manuscript, the *Manuscript of the Oath*,

and thus the Land of Warriors broke apart into many planets and galaxies.

It was wisdom."

Jawsar continued:

"As an example of power equivalence between warriors:

Nilofer, the Warrior of the Spectral Circle,

creates a deadly circle that forces his opponent to fight from afar—

or suffer the draining of their energy if they step inside it.

But he is countered by the comet warrior Alton,

who possesses a terrifying ability in his eyes.

If his opponent's gaze meets his,

Alton drains their energy, seizes their mind, and controls their body."

"That is why skilled warriors face Alton with their eyes closed."

Ned:

"I want to learn to fight with my eyes closed too—so I can defeat Alton!"

Jawsar (angrily):

"Do you see?!

These are desires that lead nowhere!

If you defeat Alton—or defeat everyone—

then what?

Power is nothing without the principles held in the mind."

Ned:

"I apologize, Lord Jawsar… you are right."

Tagar suddenly noticed a gigantic beast—

not one of the black rot creatures,

but a pure beast, extremely difficult to tame.

Pure beasts, as you know, were once guardian beasts in the ancient past.

Tagar (stunned):

"What is that, Lord Jawsar?!"

Jawsar:

"That is the **Terror Beast**."

He continued, recalling an old memory:

"Nilofer and I worked together to capture it.

He drained its power and restricted its movement…

then I sealed it easily afterward.

It's one of the strongest pure beasts—

nearly impossible to tame.

Only one warrior ever succeeded in taming Terror Beasts:

the **Fierce Tamer of Terror Beasts**.

But he ordered this beast to attack us—

so we imprisoned it."

Jawsar continued:

"This Terror Beast is a pure beast,

just like the Seven Blade Beasts."

Tagar:

"Lord Jawsar… are there pure beasts equal in power to the Seven Dragons?"

Jawsar:

"Yes… countless.

Just as warriors spread across the Land of Warriors…

so did the pure warrior beasts.

Our purpose used to be the same."

"But the danger of the Seven Dragons lies in their growth—

they grow larger and stronger

as the heart of the warrior who carries their sword grows stronger."

"There are also many legendary weapons besides the Seven Swords…

like the **Flash Bow** wielded by the warrior Bowss,

and the **Ring of Void** wielded by the comet warrior Woodbine…

and many more."
