The sound of a blade cutting into flesh rang out.
Followed by a gurgling sound.
Mark and Clark watched in shock as a human head rolled on the ground.
"Is that... is that Uncle Louis's head?!"
Clark's eyes widened as he stared at the unbelievable scene before him.
Then he saw the zombie Louis, who had been chasing them earlier, fall heavily to the ground.
Lana, hidden deepest, did not see the zombie's head being cut off; she only felt a familiar presence.
"Thump! Thump!"
Footsteps sounded, approaching Clark and the others.
Clark held his breath nervously.
"I found you!"
A familiar voice entered the trio's ears.
Mark immediately looked up in surprise, his eyes meeting Peter's familiar face.
"Dad!"
Mark excitedly rushed over, throwing himself into his arms.
Seeing his godfather arrive, Clark finally relaxed the tension he had been holding.
Lana, however, stared blankly at Peter, who was holding a katana.
Peter's body was splattered with a lot of blood, emitting a strange smell.
Although somewhat terrifying, the sight of him holding the katana still gradually calmed her frightened heart.
Peter, holding the katana he had conveniently taken from Father Norma's house, breathed a sigh of relief when he saw the three little ones safe and sound.
After leaving Father Norma's house, he immediately rushed to the Great Hall.
He hadn't expected that due to the walkers' attack, the Great Hall had already become a sea of blood.
After anxiously asking Jonathan and Neil about the possible location of the three little ones, he had cut his way through with the sword.
Although he didn't know swordsmanship, his body, under the influence of the watch, had gradually become superhuman, allowing him to cut zombies with the katana as easily as slicing melons and vegetables.
"Are you alright, Mark? And Clark and Lana, were you bitten?"
Peter checked Mark for bites and then asked Clark and Lana.
"N-no."
Lana was a little embarrassed after Peter rubbed her face and then checked her body.
"That's good, let's get out of here."
Peter tore his jacket into strips and tied Lana and Clark to his back.
"Mark, you can keep up with my speed, right?"
After tying Lana and Clark to his back, he asked Mark.
Mark nodded heavily and said in a grown-up tone, "Yes, Dad, I'll protect you!"
You protect me?
Peter thought to himself, 'Your Laser Eyes are hit or miss, and I'm supposed to rely on you for protection?'
"Alright, let's fight our way out, father and son."
"Like From Dusk Till Dawn?"
Peter glared at Mark, "About you sneaking looks at horror movies, Mark, you can explain it to me after we get out."
Mark's little face immediately drooped.
Raising the katana, Peter said to Clark and Lana on his back, "Clark, Lana, close your eyes, we're about to start."
"Hiss!"
Peter stepped out of the nursery, facing the rushing zombies, and swung the katana fiercely.
The roaring zombie was instantly sliced in half, and viscous black blood splattered outwards.
Facing another rushing zombie, Peter struck with a backhand elbow.
"Boom!"
With a thunderous sound like a cannon blast, the zombie's body slammed heavily onto the ground.
A large, concave pit was smashed into the ground, and Crushed stone (crushed stone fragments) rained down like water.
The originally ferocious zombie's body was shattered into pieces by the impact.
"Whoosh!"
The katana slashed towards the third zombie with lightning speed, its sharp blade directly severing the zombie's head.
The zombie offered no resistance and was easily dealt with.
Mark, standing nearby, watched in stunned silence.
My dad is actually this amazing!
Clark, on Peter's back, also gaped in astonishment.
He thought his godfather was an ordinary person, but he found that his godfather, when he went berserk, seemed even more terrifying than the zombies!
Loli Lana, tied to Peter's back, kept her eyes closed until blood splattered on her face.
Oh my god, that's blood!
She nearly threw up.
Suppressing the urge to vomit, she pressed her face tightly against Peter's back.
Lana could smell herself, the Fishy smell (fishy, foul smell) of blood, and a disgusting, sticky, coppery smell.
Her mind seemed to flash with a kaleidoscope of bloody images involving Peter.
But for some reason, these extremely bloody images did not make her feel fear towards Peter.
Instead, they gave her a sense of security she had never experienced before.
"Crash!"
Peter kicked open the door, and what greeted him were the zombies rushing over.
The katana swept through like lightning, and viscous blood immediately splattered outwards.
Mark, nearby, was once again splattered with foul blood.
But this time, he didn't break down emotionally like last time; instead, he sniffed, taking in the bloody, foul smell.
"Dad, watch out! Behind you!"
Seeing a zombie attack from behind Peter, Mark immediately shouted at him.
At the same time, a beam of laser shot from his eyes, cutting the attacking zombie in half.
Peter turned his head and saw the corpse cut in half by Laser Eyes.
"Well done, Mark!"
Peter glanced at Mark, whose face was covered in foul blood, and praised him.
Although this boy's appearance reminded him again of the perverted famous scene from his previous life.
After being praised by Peter, Mark's drive immediately surged, "I told you, Dad, I'll protect you."
His Laser Eyes once again targeted a roaring zombie that was lunging at him.
"Sizzle!"
Heat Vision struck the zombie's chest, directly piercing through it.
Unexpectedly, after the zombie's chest was pierced, its movements didn't stop, and it continued to lunge at Mark.
Peter rotated the katana, holding it with one hand and slashing downwards.
The zombie was instantly split in half by him.
Poor Mark was once again drenched in foul blood.
Ignoring the need to comfort Mark, Peter looked at the spreading Fire, kicked open the side door of the Great Hall's corridor, and then rushed into the fire escape.
Several corpses lay on the ground, but Peter's footsteps didn't stop as he rushed towards the entrance at the fastest possible speed.
Scattered zombies attempting to block his way had their heads severed with a single swing of his sword.
The flames crackled and popped, and the smell of blood and Fire filled the entire space.
"Bang!"
As he jumped to the entrance, a burst of sparks flashed, followed by a violent explosion.
The explosive flames rushed towards him.
Peter immediately brought his arms together, holding them in front of his face.
The flames impacted his arms with a 'boom'.
Clark and Lana clung tightly to his back, and Mark was shielded behind him.
Once the burning sensation and impact of the flames disappeared, the trio slowly opened their eyes.
