Fog curls across the empty road.
Jay's jeep cuts through the silence like a lone shadow.
Hands steady on the steering wheel, he whispers:

And still they create hype around me."
He sighs.
In the rear-view mirror—
FLASH.
His pupils blaze demon-red for a split second.
Jay instantly shuts his eyes.

But when he opens them—
The road ahead explodes with violent energy.

A monstrous vibration tears through the air.
The bridge trembling.
Streetlights flicker.
A gigantic purple-black portal rips open in the middle of the bridge.
Crackling lightning shoots in every direction.
Jay slams the brakes.
SCREECHHH—
Gravel erupts.
The jeep skids sideways.
Jay steps out slowly, eyes narrowed.
"A Demon Gate… in the middle of the city?
This isn't normal."
Three High-Class Demons step out of the swirling void.
Their bodies wrapped in red-black flames.
Ground cracks beneath their feet.
One growls:
"Bloodbound… we have been hunting you."
Jay smirks.
"No.
You found the wrong guy at the wrong time."
The gate ripples again—
DOZENS more demons spill out.
Jay whispers:
"Summon."
The air tears open behind him—
BOOM— BOOM— BOOM—
The Blood Army descends.
And beside them… the Demon Commander materializes with killing intent.
The Battle on the Bridge
A demon disappears in lightning speed—
reappears behind Jay's neck with claws raised.
Before the strike lands—
Jay raises one hand backward.
CLENCH.
He catches the claws mid-air.
The demon's eyes widen.
"W–WHAT—?!"
Jay's voice stays calm:
"Too slow."
CRACK!
He twists the demon's arm, shattering it completely.
Another demon roars, punching forward—
the shockwave fractures the road.
Jay leaps lightly—
steps on the demon's punch like it's solid ground.
"How many times should I say it?
Raw power means nothing."
Behind Jay, the Commander appears, thrusting his blade through the demon's chest, crushing its heart.
The third demon forms a massive dark-energy orb—
lightning tearing nearby trees apart.
"DIE, BLOODBOUND!"
Jay side-steps— doges the blast—
and summons SOULRENDER.
One clean strike.
SKULL— CRUMBLE.
Three bodies hit the ground.
The portal begins collapsing.
Jay wipes the demon blood off his jacket.
"So who's the unknown power now?"
But as he turns,
the veins in his hand turn faint black—
demon blood reacting with him.
Jay frowns.
"…Something's wrong."
Hunters Association HQ — High Alert
Sirens blare.
Screens light up with emergency red text:
"S-Rank Demon Gate — CLOSED IN 15 MINUTES."
Amar freezes.
"Impossible… No team has even reached there yet!"
Ishita gasps.
"Then who closed it?"
Dhruv smirks.
"Who else?
It has to be Jay."
Amar shakes his head in disbelief.
"One kid… closing an S-Rank gate alone?"
Silence fills the room.
Jay Returns Home
The gate opens with a quiet creak as Jay enters.
His sister calls from the balcony:
"Bhai! You're late.
Everything okay?"
Jay's clothes are torn.
Knuckles stained in dried demon blood.
He gives a soft, fake smile.
"Yeah… just extra work."
She giggles.

Jay's expression softens.

The Reflection That Isn't Human
Jay enters his room and removes his jacket.
He stares at the mirror—
And freezes.

His reflection has horns, red eyes, demon skin.
Jay steps back, shaken.

He opens the diary.
It flips pages on its own.
Words begin writing themselves:

Jay's eyes widen.
"Monarchs…
the true rulers of demons?"
More words appear:
"One of them… is already near you."
Jay's heartbeat races.
Then—
A voice whispers behind him:
"At last…
we meet,
heir of Bloodbound."
