Night fell, and Li Wei was staying over. Xiao Mei entered Liang's room to get a shirt, finding Liang taking a shower. She carefully leaned to peek, but just then, Liang opened the door unexpectedly.
Xiao Mei lost her balance and fell, instinctively grabbing onto the towel around Liang's waist. The towel came loose, and her eyes widened in shock and immediate, hysterical laughter. She had seen the duck-themed underwear Liang was wearing.
"Xiao Mei!" Liang shrieked. "You—you—you shameless woman!" He stuttered in embarrassment and rushed back into the bathroom.
Xiao Mei kept apologizing rapidly. "I'm sorry, Hubby, I didn't mean to!"
Liang came out wearing his pajamas. He quickly walked towards Xiao Mei, grabbed her waist, and threw her onto the bed. "If you want to sleep with me that badly, then let's try it!"
Xiao Mei's breath caught in her throat, and her heart pounded wildly. A drop of water from Liang's still-wet hair landed on her face, making her heart beat even faster. Liang leaned in close to kiss her. Xiao Mei closed her eyes in anticipation.
In that moment, Liang whispered in her ear, "Why did you close your eyes?"
Xiao Mei stammered, confused. "A—no, I didn't!" She pushed Liang away. Her cheeks were bright red.
Liang chuckled. "Is that so? Then why is your face red?"
"It's not! My face is not red!" Xiao Mei insisted, then quickly rushed towards the door.
When she opened the door, the maids and Li Wei tumbled inside—they had been listening! They laughed awkwardly, saying, "We weren't listening!"
Liang ordered them out and commanded Xiao Mei to get into bed. Xiao Mei laughed awkwardly and agreed.
They lay in the same bed. Xiao Mei quickly fell asleep. Liang, however, couldn't sleep because of her movements in her sleep. Xiao Mei was dreaming of drinking with models in a bar, stroking their chest muscles. Her hand, in reality, was stroking Liang's chest. Liang couldn't sleep because of her actions and spent the rest of the night washing up in cold water.
When Xiao Mei woke up, Liang was staring at her, with dark circles under his eyes. "My dear, what happened? Couldn't you sleep last night?" she asked.
Liang laughed maniacally. "Wonderful! I slept wonderfully!"
Xiao Mei looked at him with pity.
