The dragon watched the Emperor disappear into the horizon, then looked at the Crown Prince, who was watching him with a somewhat cautious gaze.
The dragon thought for a few moments, then said:
"Well... the fun is gone."
In truth, the dragon had no desire to go after the criminal in his current state.
Nor did he feel any enthusiasm for fighting the son of the Human Emperor, especially while he was still injured.
His body was covered in injuries he had sustained in his previous battle, and he did not want to get into another unnecessary fight.
Therefore...
He calmly spread his wings.
Then, he left the place and headed to the Mira Continent to recover, without caring about pursuing the criminal.
As for the Crown Prince...
He remained there for a few moments, watching the dragon as it left.
Then, he breathed a sigh of relief.
After that, he quickly looked toward the place where his father and the criminal had disappeared.
He remained deep in thought for a few moments.
Then he said to himself:
"The criminal possessed a powerful energy..."
He paused for a moment.
Then continued:
"But I don't think it will be difficult for my father."
The Crown Prince trusted in the strength of the Human Emperor.
Therefore, he decided not to continue the pursuit.
He said to himself:
"I'll leave this matter to him."
Then he looked at the Fallen Isles.
That area was still in chaos, and demons were scattered throughout it.
Therefore, he said to himself:
"I must take care of the Fallen Isles."
Then he added:
"And protect our territory before the demons invade it."
He remained silent for a moment.
Then a serious expression appeared on his face.
"That is the last thing we want right now, for the dragon to become angry with us because of our negligence."
After making his decision...
The Crown Prince quickly headed toward the Fallen Isles.
He had to take care of them and protect the area, especially after what had happened there and the departure of the Human Emperor.
Meanwhile, on the other side...
In the direction from which the criminal had departed...
The white comet was streaking across the sky at tremendous speed.
It was not a real comet.
Rather, it contained a winged horse within it, with the mysterious figure riding on its back.
Meanwhile, Gungnir, Odin's spear, was also resting on the horse's back.
The winged horse was flying at tremendous speed, moving away from the battlefield.
As for the mysterious figure...
She was sitting on its back, still trying to process what had happened.
That power had appeared at the last moment and saved her from the chains that had bound her.
She did not know who had sent the comet at first.
But when she looked at the horse, and then at the spear resting on its back...
Things began to become clear to her.
She quickly recognized the winged horse and the spear, even after they had changed.
And she knew that this could not have been a mere coincidence.
She looked at the winged horse, then at Gungnir.
In a low and shy voice, she said:
"Then Odin helped me..."
Then she remained silent for a few moments.
She was still unsure of what she would do next.
But one thing had become clear to her now.
Odin...
Had saved her from danger at the last moment.
