I looked at him. He was watching me with a smile on his face.
"What?" I asked
"Nothing" he said "You're so cute"
I blushed looking away.
It was so annoying when he did this. Why would he say I was cute?
I didn't hate though if anything, it made the morning lighter, easier than I expected it to be after everything that had happened.
After we finished eating, he drove me back home.
The drive was calm. We drove in silence and I just enjoyed the beauty of Novaterra. I don't think I would ever get use to this. Kasteil had to go back to work and I had a class to attend today.
When we reached my house, I stepped out of the car.
"I'll see you later," he said.
"Ok," I replied.
Then he left for work.
I stood there for a second, watching his car disappear down the road before finally turning and walking inside.
The moment I stepped into the house, the tiredness hit me again.
It was like my body had been holding it back until I got home.
