Chapter 4 - Who killed Isabella

Kiana's POV

I never liked any of the A3 but that doesn't mean I like Akira's guts either. Just one day in this school and she's already acting out of place. She needs to be dealt with.

Isla's POV

That biatch! Jeff spat. How dare she.

She's really grown wings replied Kimberly.

And we need to clip them. She's a pauper who needs to learn her place... And we're going to teach her how I said facing them, with a malicious smile.

AT THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE

Alan paced the corridor of the principal's office, rubbing his sweaty palms on his thighs waiting to be called in.

Coach Damien had reported him right away leaving him no chance to negotiate.

Alan Roggers? The principal's PA called out startling him, the principal would see you now.

He got up slowly and followed the PA into the principal's office his legs feeling like jelly.

Alan stepped into the office and the door clicked shut behind him with a finality that made his throat tighten. The thick carpet swallowed his footsteps, but it couldn't muffle the tension pressing down on his shoulders.

A low rustle came from behind the desk where Principal Matthews flipped a page in a file slowly, precisely. His eyes didn't lift. Not yet.

The room was too neat. Not a pen out of place. Not a speck of dust on the polished wood. Sunlight filtered through the half-closed blinds in perfect lines, like bars across the floor. A metal clock ticked above the bookshelf, each second louder than the last.

Alan shifted on his feet.

A leather chair creaked as Principal Matthews finally looked up. No smile. No greeting. Just silence thick enough to choke on.

A single framed portrait of his days in active service on the wall behind him seemed to glare down. Principal Matthews was a feared and respected General. He still had that sternness that made him feared even regardless of his current veteran status.

Alan's gaze dropped.

And in that moment, he knew he wasn't walking out of here with just a warning.

Principal Matthews gaze pierced through Alan like glass. He folded his hands over the closed file and leaned back slightly, the chair giving a long, deliberate creak.

Rule 7 section C of the student conduct code he said, voice low and even. "No student shall engage in acts of humiliation, physical sabotage, or targeted harassment. Offenders will face disciplinary action without negotiation.

Alan's throat bobbed. It was just a prank sir

The principal's hand shot up. Not a word more.

"You dumped food on another student's head, on school grounds, and triggered the security doors doing it. This isn't a prank. It's cruelty."

He opened the file and slid a form across the desk. Detention for the rest of the month plus keeping the library neat and tidy. Mandatory apology letter handwritten, 5000 words . You'll also be removed from the Student Leadership Games roster.

Alan's face paled. "But that's next week and I'll loose rank on the leaderboard for the position of captain next month you can't...

Do you prefer I call your father?

What! please don't do that sir my dad is going to k!lol me he said fearfully.

You should've thought of that before trying to humiliate someone for wearing a hoodie.

He pressed the intercom. Mrs. Grace, inform the school librarian a student would be serving a corporal punishment at the library beginning today. And inform Coach Damien he's not allowed to represent the school in any activity for the rest of the month.

The intercom clicked off. Alan didn't move. He couldn't believe how quickly his plan backfired.

Leave now! The principal snapped startling Alan to his feet when he saw he didn't make any attempt to move.

In an empty classroom close to the school's botanical garden, two boys paced angrily while staring at their phones. The incident from earlier was already trending on the school's blog.

I swear Aiden, I'm going to hurt that biatch real bad. She's going to pay.

I'll make her regret getting Alan in trouble.

How do we achieve that Adrian? Aiden asked.

We find out everything about her and use it to our advantage.

Violet's POV

From the moment I Akira bumped into me,I knew she was going to be the walking target of the vain kids in school, thanks to her oversized hoodie.

But unfortunately for them, Akira is no push over. I loved the way she handled Alan today, using the school rules instead of physical confrontation.

Well I still have to look after her. I won't want her to suffer the same fate as my bestie. Isabella.

I remembered the day it happened like it was yesterday.

She had complained about how some of her design sketches was leaked on a website the morning of that fateful day. Then she hurried out some minutes to the end of music class after getting a text from an unknown number, next we found her in a pool of her own blaad.

Vee?

Earth to Violet! Elsie called snapping me out of my thoughts.

I called you many times, what are you thinking about that made you oblivious to your surroundings she asked making me facepalm.

It's about Isa, do you think Akira might be saying the truth? What if Kiana really had a hand in Isa's fall?

Then we'll make sure she rots in jail Vee. But we just need to let fate do it's work at least till the truth reveals itself.

Now come on, the others are waiting Elsie said pulling Violet out of the girls changing room.

A strange looking person in a long black cloak stepped out of his hideout when the girls were out of sight.

" I need to warn her, he said dialing a number. She needs to act fast this girls are already suspicious "

The person on the other end received the call and they spoke with the other party promising to handle things.
