That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime or Tensura for short, is my favourite anime.
What started as a simple fan story eventually grew into something much larger: a separate world, a branch beyond the original verse... a story now called Tensura Starverse.
I used AI to bring all the characters to life and paraphrase to enhance clarity, correct grammar/spelling, or find synonyms for a specific word when needed. The tone, ideas, and direction remain entirely mine.
Despite that, I struggled a lot when it came to pacing. Every time I shared it for review, pacing was the one flaw that wouldn't go away. I tried to fix it without adding pointless scenes or breaking the story's core vision, but it doesn't go away.
I'm not writing this story to chase complexity, endless lore, or cosmic depths beyond my control. Everything here exists within the boundaries of my imagination and intention.
I'm not competing to have the longest novel, the smartest mastermind, or the strongest character. Even though some figures in this world are naturally formidable because of their background. Power isn't the point, purpose & reason are.
Every choice has a reason. Every scene exists because it matters.
Originally, Starverse was supposed to be personal, something only for me. But someone once told me:
"Share it. It's just a story."
After thinking about it to the next level, I decided:
"Why not?"
So here I am, ready to release it. Honestly, I'm a bit nervous but the deal is done. I've written more than enough to quit. The worst that can happen is a flop and that's fine :) The story exists now, and that alone is enough.
