They finally reached Horizon Base North.
Huge steel walls. Guard towers. Floodlights.
A scientist in a white coat approached them.
"Welcome. We've been expecting you."
Eko frowned. "Expecting us?"
The man smiled.
"Yes. We received a report from the Hunters."
Geo froze. "They sent your information ahead…"
Lolly whispered, "This is a trap."
Soldiers surrounded them.
Guns raised.
The scientist pointed at Eko.
"Take the hybrid. The others may live."
Eko snarled. "Over my dead—"
A tranquilizer dart hit his neck.
Lolly screamed. "NO!"
Eko collapsed into her arms.
She kissed his forehead.
"Eko, stay with me…"
He looked up at her weakly.
"I'm sorry…"
Geo fought desperately — but there were too many.
Eko was dragged away.
And the last thing Lolly heard before blackout was:
"Prepare the hybrid for dissection."
