3rd POV:
"Now it's time for the final duel of the first round! Everyone, please welcome our two duelists, Ryuji and Takeshi!"
*Yawn* "Finally my turn. These kids fight took too long to finish, this really remind me of GOAT format." Ryuji walk into the area under the suspect eyes of the audience and his opponents. Ignore the gazes, he waves his hand at Dextra and others.
The opponent, Takeshi open his mouth and say with a mocking tone. "Why did a kid like you appear in this tournament? Go back and play with your mother. This is a place for true duelist like me!"
From the tone of his voice Ryuji can tell he doesn't know about his age and just saying it to provoke him. Ryuji is shorter than Takeshi by a head and his skinny body make him look really small.
As Takeshi was about to continue his provoke Ryuji next sentence shut him entirely. "What mother? I'm an orphan, and I'm really just an 8-year-old child, but the way you behave is far more childish than me."
Takeshi froze entirely from Ryuji words, after a few seconds he open his mouth again. "W-Why did the tournament allowed an 8 years old in this tournament? The standard should be 10 to 12!" Takeshi quickly change the topic to Ryuji age, not dare to continue with his mother or he fear that even if he wins, he will still get critical by the audience.
"Oh! Easy, I just find one of the participants of this tournament and challenge him into a duel. Record the video of me destroy him one side and send it to Mr.Heartland and ask for his spot in the tournament." Ryuji spoke with a calm look on his face as if what he says is a casual thing, but Takeshi and the audience find it hard to believe.
Well, it's actually a lie, Mr.Heartland directly give him the right to enter the tournament when he shows his interest. But he has to save Mr.Heartland some face, after all he is his boss.
"Hmm? Are you sure you don't play any dirty trick to win? I refuse to believe a duelist quality to enter this tournament can lose to you."
Ryuji look at Takeshi as he activates his duel disk. "Well then, why don't you try?" Takeshi let out a cold snort as he also activates his duel disk.
"Duel!" X2
The light on their duel disk start to flick back and forth. Soon, it stops at Takeshi side.
"My turn, draw! I don't care which third rate duelist lose to you, but right now I will show you the power of a true duelist!
I activate Graceful Charity to draw three cards and discard two. Then I activate Reinforcement of the Army to add Marauding Captain to my hand.
I summon Marauding Captain in attack position; because of its effect I can special summon one level 4 or lower warrior monster from my hand. Special summon Valkyrian Knight! I'm not done, I activate Monster Reborn to revive Command Knight in my graveyard, Command Knight can raise atk of my warrior monster by 400.
Finally, I activate Solidarity, if I have only one type of monster in my graveyard every monster I control with the same type gain 800 atk, I only have one Mataza the Zapper so every warrior monster I control gain 800 atk, I set 1 card and end my turn."

'Hmm... No xyz at all? This lock combo only impressive during DM era, right now it's outdated.' Although this is the first Yu-Gi-Oh series to introduce xyz, but not everybody has one themselves. Among 32 participants, only about one fifth of this tournament have xyz monsters. But some of them may hide it for the next round as a trump card.
"Then it's my turn, draw!"
Before Ryuji can make any move, Takeshi cut him off. "I activate Drop Off! You have to discard the card you just draw."
'Good good good! You want to play like that huh? Then I will also use card from first yugioh series to play with you.' Ryuji think of the way to humiliating his opponent the most and discard the Pot of Greed he just draws. 'That 3 draws, it's reasonable if I OTK him right now, right?' One can destroy his entire field if they want, but he will not allow anyone to stop him from draw a single time let alone 3.
"I normal summon Kaitoptera in attack position, Kaitoptera effects; During my Main Phase: I can add 1 "Polymerization" from my Deck to your hand."
Takeshi and the audience look surprised as he takes out the card that even older than their great grandfather. Even Dextra group look surprised, unexpected that Ryuji would use fusion.
Takeshi let out a small chuck. "Really? Did you think that outdated mechanic can help you defeated me? How laughable!"
'Look who's saying...' "Then let me show you the power of this so-called outdated mechanic. I activate Cosmic Cyclone; I pay 1000 LP, banish your set card." A typhoon appears in the middle of the area and suck Takeshi set card in, as the card got devour Ryuji can see it 'Mirror Force'.
[Ryuji, LP: 4000 -> 3000]
"Then I activate Polymerization to fuse Kaitoptera and Sabersaurus on my hand.
Requirement: "Kaitoptera" + 1 Dinosaur or Dragon monster. Fusion summon Horned Saurus!
Then I activate equip spell Megamorph and equip it to Horned Saurus, because now I have lower LP than you, Horned Saurus atk is double!"
[Horned Saurus, atk:2000 -> 4000]
"I use Horned Saurus to attack!" The dinosaur flaps it wings and fly towards Takeshi field.
Takeshi lip curve into a smirk. "Hmph! You think I will let you destroy my monsters like that? How foolish, this is my perfect defense! Both Marauding Captain and Valkyrian Knight have an effect to not let you target any warrior monster for attack except itself. Which mean as long as these two monsters remain on the field you can't target any warrior monster for attack; you can't breakthrough my warrior!"
Takeshi look at Ryuji with arrogant but see his expression still calm. Ryuji just smile when he looks at Takeshi as if was looking at a clown.
"Yes, I agree that I can't breakthrough your monster, but I never have to, didn't I? I just need to reduce your LP to 0."
Takeshi getting a bad feeling about what Ryuji saying but he still acts tough. "Then tell me then, how can you-" before he can finish his word, he sees Ryuji monster ignore his monster and fly directly at him. "Huh? Wha- How can this happen!?"
Seeing Takeshi panic Ryuji let out a satisfied laugh. "Why breakthrough when I can just fly over it? Horned Saurus effect; This card can attack directly the turn it is Special Summoned."
"No! This can't be!" Takeshi watch horrific as the dinosaur stop above his head and release a powerful shockwave send him flying.
[Takeshi, LP: 4000 -> 0]
[Winner: Ryuji]
After moment of silence, the commentator picks up his micro and announced the winner of the battle. ""Ladies and gentlemen, the winner of this duel is Ryuji! Have you all seen that? It's an OTK, a OTK using fusion monster! I've never thought that I will see a fusion monster in a tournament."
As a professional commentator, he has seen many battle with a OTK in his life, but never one with fusion monster. Truth be told, find a fusion monster in a tournament nowadays is rarer than a deck without extra deck.
Ryuji withdrawal his duel disk and looked at his opponent with a disappointed expression. "In the end, you are also just a third-rate duelist like the one I defeated before. I hope my future opponents will perform better than you." Leaving the nearly pass out from anger Takeshi behind, Ryuji walk out of the area to meet up with Dextra group.
Although what Ryuji say is a bit edgy but hey, he's still a kid now, act cool when he can.

"So cool! Did you guys see that, he just easily destroys his opponent!" On the seating are, Yuma was shouting excitedly because of Ryuji duel. His eyes shine like a star.
Beside him, Kari was rewatching her records of Ryuji battle, after letting out a sound of satisfaction she starts to pack her belongs and take other out of the area to meet up with Ryuji.
On the other side of the area, a family of four was sitting there discuss about the battle just now, they look like a rich family with a twin sibling.
The daughter with dark pink eyes, dark blue hair with light blue bang said to her brother as she points at Ryuji retreating figure.
"Hehe, brother that brother is strong right? That's the first time I have seen an OTK, again an older opponent no less." Her voice contains an excitement as if she was seeing her idol.
The brother looks at his idolize sister and let out a cold snort. "Hmph! What's so great about that? If I was the same age as him then I can do that to!"
Looking at her brother arrogant face, the sister let out a teasing smile. "How about this? He beats a 12-year-old opponent at 8, then if you beat him know you can prove that you are better than him, you're already 4-year-old, exactly 4 years different like him and his opponent."
The brother stun for a moment before muttering quietly. "That's not the same..."
Watching their children argue with each other, the parent let out a gentle smile.
Meanwhile, outside the area, Ryuji meet up with others. He was surrounded by Tori and Yuma who were jump up and down around him.
He just gently pats their head but before his hand can touch Tori head, she turns away with a blush on her check. It's clear that she still feels embarrassed from what happen in the medical room.
Ryuji then notice that Yuma now wear an extra clock on his wrist. This is the birthday gift Dextra prepare for him. As for what Ryuji prepare? Well, we'll have to wait for now.
*Gurgling* When the group are talking, Yuma belly let out a growling sound. He scratches his head embarrassed. "Uh, how about we go eating first?"
Ryuji and other let out a helpless smile. "Sure, what did you want to eat? Choose freely, my treat."
Yuma eyes shine instantly and say without thinking. "Onigiri!"
'Onigiri? Is there a restaurant serve Onigiri nearby? Oh right! That sushi restaurant before, great time! I only miss one more Suship card to take the mystery gift.'
"Sure, luckily I know a good restaurant nearby." Ryuji say as he takes the group to the sushi restaurant.
