Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A newborn, a otaku?

Year 1485 of the Sea Calendar — New World, Grand Line

On a lush island where the sea glowed blue and the sand shone white, the thunder of cannons shattered the tranquility.

Near the coast, a dozen fishing boats were surrounding and attacking a pirate ship. A man with hair and beard as thick as a lion's mane wielded a harpoon, cutting through pirates as blood splattered everywhere.

No pirate could withstand him. Soon, only the pirate captain was left resisting.

"Damn it! You killed all my brothers! I'll fight you to the death!"

Puff! The harpoon pierced his chest. The pirate captain died with his eyes still wide open.

"Heh. If you want to die, go ahead. I haven't lived enough yet."

After settling the pirate captain, the man began directing his companions to gather corpses and loot. Suddenly, someone shouted from the shore:

"Rick! Why are you still here? Go home—Susanna is about to give birth!"

"Really?! Gulala, that's great! I'm going to be a father!"

The man built like a lion leaped with the joy of a one-ton child and disappeared toward the village.

The Village

Past a winding forest trail, the view broadened into a village surrounded by jungle. Wooden houses formed a circular pattern, and a plaza stood at the center with a statue of a huntress draped in fur and holding a spear.

Fish and seaweed dried outside every door, and blonde, blue-eyed villagers walked to and fro.

Then came thunderous footsteps and trembling ground—the enormous Rick rushed in, laughing "Gulala!" all the way.

Inside a house, two young women were carrying hot water back and forth. A sudden scream made them jump in panic.

"Bring the hot water quickly! Susanna, listen to me—push! The baby is almost here!"

The elderly midwife's voice carried a strange power that soothed those around her.

"Grandma… I think he's moving. What a naughty little guy… Ah! It hurts!"

And that "naughty little guy" finally regained consciousness.

The old otaku felt unusually warm in bed."Huh? It's still dark… what time is it?"Half-asleep, he reached for his phone.

"He's coming out! Oh? His hand came out first. Susanna, hold on!"

The midwife hurriedly pushed the tiny hand back inside, but to her shock, the baby's hand stretched out again—restless, probing, as if searching for something.

Time was running out. If the child didn't come out now, it would be dangerous.

"Push—now!"

Slip! The curled-up baby slid out, and the midwife breathed a long sigh of relief.

"Where's my baby? Let me see him!"

Soon, Susanna held the cleaned newborn in her arms. His tender pink skin was adorable. She smiled softly, brushing her finger against his cheek.

"Mom, that tickles… Let me sleep a little longer. It's still dark…"

Annoyed, the baby reluctantly opened his eyes—vision blurry, as though covered in a veil. It took the old otaku a moment to adjust.

Through the shape of two towering "mountains," he saw the face of a beautiful woman—soft features, wheat-colored skin, damp hair clinging to her forehead, and gentle amber eyes brimming with emotion.

His first thought:Wow… those are huge. Then:Where did this blonde beauty come from?

Trying to ask, he opened his mouth—but only baby noises came out.

Panicked, he flailed his arms—until he froze. This chubby little hand… is mine?

Realization hit him like lightning.

Did I… reincarnate?

His thoughts were interrupted by a booming voice from outside.

"Susanna! Where's my son? Let me see him!"

The entire house shook when Rick entered—just before a washbasin struck his head.

"Keep your voice down! If you scare my baby, I'll kill you!"

"Right, right—now let me see him!"

The old otaku, cozy in the softness of his new mother, was abruptly lifted by two rough hands. He finally saw the man—a wild, beast-like father.

The joy on the man's face did little to hide his frightening aura.Is this even human? The baby felt like prey in front of an apex predator.

Rick noticed his son wasn't crying. Confused, he suddenly remembered something.

He flipped the baby over and slapped his butt.

"Gulala! Cry for Daddy!"

Human civilization finally dawned on him—Oh god, what am I thinking?

The burning sting made the otaku furious… and oddly awake. Then logic won.

Waaah! Waaah! Waaah!

"What are you doing, idiot?! Babies don't talk!"

"Right, right, my fault. I was too excited!"

Susanna rolled her eyes and said softly:

"Give our son a name."

"Hehe, I've already thought of one. Our child must be as majestic as a lion. His name will be Leo. Brandon Leo!"

Thus, the reincarnated old otaku gained his new identity.

Two Months Later

After two months of growth, Leo escaped the endless cycle of sleeping and feeding. He finally began thinking clearly about his situation.

As a man fed by anime and web novels his whole life, he accepted the idea of reincarnation instantly. No—he was thrilled. Becoming an isekai traveler was a one-in-a-million chance!

Leo started gathering information. Even during breastfeeding, he managed to eavesdrop.

One day, his mother complained that pirate attacks had been increasing. Life was already hard—why must they also fend off pirates? She grumbled about "that idiot Newgate" choosing to be a pirate instead of protecting their homeland. She added that the Navy destroyed their pirate crew recently, and even the captain died.

Just from this conversation, Leo pieced together the world setting:

New World, pirates, defeated crew, Navy involvement…

If he couldn't tell where he was after that, he should surrender his otaku badge.

Realizing he was in the world of One Piece, second-grade Leo's excitement exploded. His chubby baby face stretched into a lecherous grin—standard reincarnator behavior.

Ding!Nothing happened. Leo imagined the sound.

No worries—maybe he wasn't doing it right. He closed his eyes again:

Kamisama? Grandpa? Siri?Origin God—activate!

His chuuni flames sputtered and died.

What a disaster. Leo felt he had shamed the entire community of transmigrators.

He had become a rare type—the dreaded "Three-No Transmigrator":

no system

no special powers

no cheat background

This species was so rare that if you encountered one, you should protect them—otherwise their lifespan would be tragically short.
