Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Happy ever after

----------------

Months passed and finally Riven's child was born, and they named him Lucifer.

----------------

The entire kingdom gathered for a grand celebration. The palace was decorated with crimson banners and glowing lanterns. Riven spared no expense in honoring the birth of his son. Even Aria's parents were invited, and they arrived in awe, seeing their daughter now the cherished queen of the devil's realm, mother of the heir.

During the ceremony, when Lucifer's forehead mark glowed, the sky darkened for a moment, and a fiery symbol flashed high above the castle—a sign that even the underworld acknowledged the new prince.

After the celebration, when the crowd had dispersed and the palace grew quiet again, Riven and Aria took a peaceful walk along the moonlit path near the palace gardens. The night air was calm, filled with the sound of rustling leaves and the distant echo of celebration songs.

"I gave you a hard time," Riven said suddenly, his voice softer than usual. "I'm sorry for that."

Aria turned to him, surprised. She had never heard the devil's son apologize before. For a moment, she was speechless.

"It's okay, my lord," she replied with a gentle smile. "You gave me love… in your own way. And I gave you the devil's son you always wished for."

They stopped walking. Riven looked at her—this human woman who had faced darkness, fear, and fate—and chose to love him through it all. He smiled, a rare and genuine smile, and reached for her hand.

"I'm glad it was you," he said quietly.

Aria leaned into him, resting her head on his shoulder. The fire mark on their son's forehead might symbolize hell, but in this moment, standing beneath the stars, their hearts felt peace.

----------------

Years later, peace filled the kingdom. Aria and Riven ruled side by side, no longer feared—but respected. Their son, Lucifer, grew strong and wise. Though he bore the devil's fire mark, he carried Aria's gentle heart. People came to love him not for his power, but for his kindness. Riven, once feared as the devil's son, had changed. Love had softened him. Aria, once afraid, now stood proud as queen and mother. The past no longer haunted them—it shaped them into who they were meant to be. In the end, their love rewrote fate, and happiness found its place.

And so, the devil's son, his favorite wife, and their child began a new chapter—one not ruled by fear, but by the hope that love could change even the darkest of destinies.
