Chapter 5 - Eagle Eye

A mage and someone possessing a power that made Straker feel uncomfortable, accompanied by a dozen guards—this combination, along with the rotten grain and the royal crest of Lordaeron found here...

Rhodes could figure out who it was instantly: the infamous 'Lordaeron's Son,' the Lich King, and his final title, 35 Mana!

The other infamous 'father-betrayer,', orc lover, that tricky Jaina, White-Haired Jaina! She transformed from a naive sweetheart into a ruthless powerhouse.

"I understand! Point out their exact location for me," Rhodes said.

"Great Master, they are about one kilometer southeast of you," Straker said.

In fact, he was extremely curious about the existence that possessed special energy, an energy that could even make him feel fear.

"I know. Straker, go back and stay in the castle for now. If there's any danger, I will call you out." Rhodes nodded and immediately recalled Straker and the surrounding undead creatures into his System Fortress.

Having undead creatures outside would inevitably cause unnecessary misunderstandings. Arthas might directly mistake him for the mastermind of this plague event and charge over with his hammer.

If this truly is the Azeroth World, then that is definitely not good news!

In terms of danger, the Azeroth World is far more perilous than the planet of heroes of might and magic III!

Wait a few years, and there's almost a world-ending disaster annually: The Burning Crusade, Wrath of the Lich King, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria, Warlords of Draenor, Legion, and Shadowlands!

The latest version seems to have reached The War Within, which supposedly introduced a certain Void Lord, Mendacius, who can devour entire planets.

This guy once appeared in a dungeon during The Burning Crusade, but back then he was just a Boss.

But later, it was revealed that the Boss players defeated after countless hardships was merely one of Mendacius' countless projected avatars while he was sleeping in the universe.

If he didn't have the heroes of might and magic III system, Rhodes felt he should find a chance to hide in Stormwind City and live a good life as a commoner.

However, Stormwind City doesn't seem all that safe either; it was attacked by the Demon Lord Kazzak right before the Burning Legion's expedition.

Rhodes shook his head, deciding not to think about it for now, and followed the path Straker pointed out, heading toward Arthas and Jaina's location.

The two sides were not far apart. After walking for just a few minutes, Rhodes heard sounds of fighting in the distance.

Rhodes saw an undead creature, three and a half meters tall, fat and bloated, holding a giant scythe in one hand and a giant cleaver in the other, covered in pustules and oozing sticky fluid.

An Abomination, a stitched monster created by the Scourge—a zombie-type creature pieced together and sewn from countless corpses.

Beside him were other monsters similar to dogs—Ghouls—crawling on four limbs with sharp teeth and claws. These monsters were also attacking the human army.

"What kind of monster is this?" A Lordaeron soldier cried out in fear.

"No matter what he is, the Holy Light will prevail! Kill these monsters, champions of Lordaeron!" A man about two meters tall, wearing ornate armor, with long golden hair and holding a warhammer, roared and charged forward to fight the massive Abomination.

A blonde woman holding an ice-blue staff and wearing blue and white robes that exposed her fair midriff waved her staff, chanted an incantation, and summoned a blue Water Elemental about two and a half meters tall.

After the huge Water Elemental appeared, it immediately relieved the pressure on the mortal soldiers. At the same time, the Female Mage occasionally cast Frostbolt to attack the monster in front of her, slowing its movements.

Upon seeing this combination, Rhodes was certain he had arrived in Azeroth. The two below were the 'Filial Son' Arthas and the Female Mage Jaina.

This should be Chapter Four of the Human campaign, the timeline where Arthas and Jaina are ordered to investigate the Eastern Weald region and are about to reach Andorhal.

It was here that Arthas first learned about the Cult of the Damned and encountered Kel'Thuzad. The fleeing Kel'Thuzad released an Abomination created by the Scourge.

At this very moment, the Prince of Lordaeron officially fell into the trap of the Scourge, walking step by step toward the abyss.

Rhodes' gaze turned toward the massive Abomination. This was a great item!

A top-tier experience booster; he couldn't waste it. Rhodes planned to use the Magic Divine Arrow to steal the kill in a moment.

The initial damage of the Magic Divine Arrow is only 10 points plus Strength multiplied by 2. If he attacked now, he should be able to deal 30 points of damage.

30 points of damage in the heroes of might and magic world—what level of attack power would that be in Azeroth?

A normal Spearman only has 10 health points, while a Crusader has 35 health points.

Rhodes narrowed his eyes and began to observe the battle closely. Some human soldiers were injured, unable to contend with the Ghouls!

Seeing this, Arthas immediately raised his warhammer high, and a golden light shone on the wounded soldier, instantly healing him.

"Light bless us!"

A few minutes later, the massive Abomination was nearly finished. Rhodes seized the opportunity, stood up, and immediately cast a Magic Divine Arrow.

A blue energy, similar to a bolt of lightning yet resembling a giant energy bird flying through the sky, shot out from Rhodes' palm and slammed directly into the Abomination.

With a loud boom! The mountainous Abomination was instantly blown to smithereens. Even the few Ghouls nearby were not spared, being blasted into pieces along with it.

This sudden change stunned Arthas, Jaina, and the group of human soldiers.

Ding-dong! A glorious victory! Rhodes immediately gained 160 experience points.

Your Eagle Eye was triggered. By carefully observing and contemplating this battle, you comprehended the mysteries of Arcane Magic and the Holy Light Power. Congratulations, you have learned Holy Light Flash and Frostbolt.

Holy Light Flash: Costs one mana point. Summons powerful Holy Light Power to attack undead or demonic creatures, or to heal allies.

Frostbolt: Every 10 Frostbolt shots consume one mana point. Can continuously attack the target, dealing damage and applying a slow effect.

This notification stunned Rhodes!

The Paladin's Holy Light Flash and the Mage's Frostbolt could actually be learned via Eagle Eye!

Holy crap! I'm about to take off!

If he could learn these two spells, that meant he could learn all sorts of spells in the Azeroth World.

What kind of Eagle Eye is this! This should be the Sharingan!

Eagle Eye is weak sauce! No, no, from now on, Eagle Eye is my greatest asset.

"Don't worry, Arthas, a mage friend helped us."
