"I love you, okay?" ... her voice broke as she stared up at Nur's face. His eyes widened, chest tightening as he stared back at her, at the magnitude of her words. Tears clung to Ayse's lashes, his wife who he supposedly contract married. From the very first day they locked eyes, he loved her but not even for a second, he would have thought she would fall for him. This was Deniz Nur Hakan--The sole heir to the multibillion-dollar company, he who built empires with his bare hands. Who had ice in his veins and ruled with an iron fist. Men trembled under his gaze; women drove to him. 
A man whose ears were deaf to the pleadings of many. Some called him a bastard, and for some he was just their "son" 
His father, Emre Yunus Hakan, handed him the keys to the Hakan estate. Well pleased and trusted that his son will continue his reign. After the funeral ceremony, his mother had come to him. 
Conversing to him on state matters and the "future"
"How his job wasn't only proceeding his father's company but to also produce an heir"
Nur stared at his mother's unreadable face; he shook his head and sternly rejected even a thought on such matters as he recalled past events.  
 Months passed. One fateful night, he received the news. 
"Mr. Hakan, your mother has passed away"
Nur was left heartbroken; he fled from U.K and quickly arrived at Istanbul via his private jet. 
The car clicked opened as he made his way in the magnificent Hakan estate.
Where he would find his "relatives" people who he had lost connection to the day his parents married. They weren't well off back then yet lived happily. 
He paid them no mind and walked towards the center where his mom's coffin was. 
Clutching around the coffin, tears sprung out. His mother, the only one who he could rest his head on the shoulders, lazily talk about his day. She had left him.
The funeral has ended. Meanwhile Nur sat at his study, blue eyes flickering under the warm glow. Hands stopping as he clicked at a profile. There in the screen showed the picture of a woman, she was a beauty, and he had known it. Sharing their numbers he agreed on meeting her. 
It was a Sunday. Nur walked around the streets of Istanbul. Phone in hand, talking to the woman on the other end. 
"I will see you, bye" he abruptly mumbled as he cut the Call. He then made his way in one of the shops. Just as he stepped in--Thud* oh god... a feminine voice came out as he stared at her. The woman mumbled a sorry as she quickly retreated a bouquet that laid on the ground. Her eyes then went up to him, warm, honey like orbs locking with a piercing pair of blues. They stared at each other.  As Nur's eyes unraveled her, she was even prettier than the girl he was supposed to meet.
 I-I'm sorry... (affet beni...) she said again and slid past him. Nur snapped his head, watching her go. Then turned to the front. On the ground was embroidered purse. He then crouched down, hands grazing against it, he clutched at the purse. Inside was an ID: Ayse Yildiz there was the picture of her. 
Ayse Yildiz... he practiced the name as if he has an obligation to remember it for eternity. 
Perhaps... his lips twitched, perhaps, he will have to...
remember it for eternity...

In the prayer of Hakan estate stood Ayse. She covered herself from head to toe with prayer garments. Facing the east, she raised her arms. Her lips moved in a soft whisper as she prayed in the serene space. The sun's light spilled in through the window as the chirping of birds made her heart slow. 


When she went to bow down, tears sprung from her eyes, as she dug her fingers against the carpeted floor. The past events, Nur's release all took a toll on her as she crumbled to the floor. 


(Allahim... Sukur de olsun...)"Oh, praise to be you... her lips then quivered, for saving us from these disasters" ah God*...


Nur's pov: I walked to our bedroom, my heart then quickened, no Ayse... I then quickly strode outside. My eyes searched for her. Then I saw the prayer room--There inside was Ayse, her shoulders shuddered with every shift. My brows furrowed as I then stepped in.


Upon hearing my arrival, she rubbed away her face and smiled. "Nur...?" I stepped in then sat near her. Yeah...me, who else? I then parted my arms, Ayse's lips curled as she buried her face in my chest. "No one"... a whisper left from her lips.


We stayed in that manner, then--Were you crying? Ayse's eyes fell, me...? no... My fingers found her chin, raising her to my face: Ayse... her eyes were anywhere but mine. Were you...? 


Nur... I was thanking God... you know... you are now released. Nur smiled at the sincerity in her voice, then held her closer, pressing his forehead against hers, tenderly.


I prayed for you as well... Ayse glanced at him, his hands then found her abdomen, for my precious Ayse and my child... 


Her heart raced, "What more can I ask for more, this is...her lips quivered, this is all I ever wanted"  Nur whispered fervently:


--And you have it now... as you deserve
