Chapter 27 - Chapter 27: This Rightfully Belongs to Larvitar!

Thunder, Thunderbolt, Spark, Thunder Punch, and Shock Wave…

If, at this stage, they could use the Purple Lighting Iron Ore, infused with pure thunder-element energy, to help Larvitar catch a glimpse of the mysteries of lightning power—even if it's just the very beginning of a skill—that could bring enormous benefits to its future growth and accumulation of strength!

Thinking of this, Lin Xia's heartbeat quickened. He turned to Lou Gao, eyes bright and filled with earnest anticipation.

"Teacher, do you need any of this Purple Lighting Iron Ore?"

Lou Gao, still immersed in the joy of discovering such a treasure and marveling at Larvitar's talent, was momentarily stunned by Lin Xia's sudden question.

He looked at Lin Xia's expression—hesitant yet determined, eyes glinting with a strange intent and then glanced at Larvitar beside them, happily clutching a chunk of ore, purple sparks dancing ever brighter around its body. In that instant, a bold thought flashed through his mind.

"Lin Xia!"

Lou Gao's voice carried disbelief and suspicion.

"You… you're not trying to say… that this Purple Lighting Iron could help Larvitar comprehend a new… Soul Skill?!"

He deliberately emphasized "Soul Skill," his gaze sharp as a blade, fixed on Lin Xia.

Lin Xia drew a deep breath, meeting his teacher's probing eyes. Without hesitation, he nodded firmly, voice resolute.

"Teacher, I have that feeling! Larvitar seems to have a special affinity for thunder-element energy. Just like it grasped 'Dig' before, this Purple Lighting Iron… might be its first true contact with thunder power! I want to give it a try!"

Lou Gao fell silent, his gaze shifting between the purple-Lighting ore vein, Larvitar gnawing on the mineral, and Lin Xia's determined, expectant eyes.

The mine grew quiet, with only the crisp "crunch, crunch" of Larvitar biting the ore and the faint "zzz" of electric currents escaping from the mineral.

After a few moments, the brief astonishment on Lou Gao's face completely melted away. In its place appeared a broad, indulgent smile filled with fondness and expectation. He slapped his thigh loudly, voice booming like a bell.

"Hahaha! Good boy! Ambitious and daring! You truly are my disciple!"

Lou Gao waved his large hand, pointing toward the entire ore vein glowing with magnificent purple light, his tone both heroic and resolute.

"Need it?! Need it for what?! These ores were discovered by you and Larvitar in the first place! Without that miraculous ability of yours, who knows how many years this treasure would've stayed buried underground!"

Lou Gao's gaze at Larvitar was filled with the tender indulgence a grandparent has for a grandchild. He crouched down, watching closely as the tiny creature gnawed at the ore, sparks of electric energy dancing subtly around its body, eyes sparkling with excitement.

"If it's useful to you, then take it all! Not a single fragment need be left for me! This rightfully belongs to Larvitar as its spoils!"

"Use these ores to satisfy it, to awaken its potential! I want to see what new tricks this little monster can create after consuming thunder-infused ore!"

"Teacher…"

Lin Xia's heart swelled with warmth and gratitude.

Lou Gao's unwavering trust and full support moved him deeply.

"Larvitar?!"

Larvitar seemed to understand Lou Gao's generous gift. It paused mid-bite, raised its small face covered in purple dust, ruby-red eyes sparkling at Lou Gao, then let out a joyful cry. Its little claws clutched the Purple Lighting Iron, hopping twice in excitement, as if saying thanks.

"Hahaha, little one, eat up! It's all yours!"

Lou Gao was delighted by Larvitar's adorable display, laughing heartily.

With the teacher's explicit permission, Lin Xia no longer hesitated.

He immediately directed Larvitar into action.

"Larvitar, don't eat yet. Let's clear out all of this Purple Lighting Iron first, then we can eat!"

Although Larvitar was reluctant to part with the ore in its paws, it trusted Lin Xia's words.

It immediately dropped the mineral and looked at Lin Xia with a serious expression.

"Larvitar!"

It was as if saying: "Whatever you say, boss, I'll do it!"

Lou Gao, watching this, couldn't help but feel a bit confused. What exactly was Lin Xia planning?

But Lin Xia quickly made it clear.

"Larvitar, dig a channel around the entire perimeter of this Purple Lighting Iron vein. Once we see the full scale, bite it off and carry it away!"

Upon hearing this, a spark of light flashed in Larvitar's eyes, and it immediately set to work.

Lou Gao, understanding Lin Xia's plan, didn't quite know what to say. This method seemed to be something only Lin Xia could pull off.

After all, mining a vein wasn't easy—especially not one like this Purple Lighting Iron.

Ordinary miners would have their hands tingling with electric shocks after even a single swing, let alone attempt to mine it properly.

But Lin Xia and Larvitar?

They simply bit through it.

And the efficiency was astonishing!

Larvitar didn't make Lin Xia and Lou Gao wait long. In just over ten minutes, it reappeared before them.

The sight immediately made Lin Xia and Lou Gao chuckle.

Larvitar's little belly was now plump and round, and faint streaks of purple electricity coursed over its body.

It was obvious it hadn't resisted snacking while digging.

But now wasn't the time to worry about that. If the little one wanted to eat, a little extra was fine.

"Larvitar, did you finish the task I asked you to do?"

Larvitar nodded. Just as it was about to speak, it let out a small burp laced with electric arcs.

Lin Xia paused for a moment, then focused his mind and activated the spatial Soul Ring on his left hand.

The dark silver patterns on the ring glimmered faintly, and an invisible spatial pull enveloped the exposed Purple Lighting Iron vein.

Clatter—clatter—clatter!

The purple-glowing ore, as if guided by an invisible hand, peeled away from the rock wall, forming a magnificent purple torrent that streamed continuously into the ring!

Before long, Lin Xia's storage Soul-tool was filled to capacity. Seeing this, Lou Gao quickly handed him another necklace-type storage Soul-tool.

Lin Xia accepted it without hesitation and resumed collecting.

In just a short while, the entire ore vein was secured. The once radiant purple walls now only showed uneven excavation marks, with lingering traces of electric energy sizzling faintly in the air.

"Larvitar! Lar-vi!"

Larvitar, seeing all the delicious ore disappear so quickly, anxiously pawed at Lin Xia's pant leg.

"Don't worry, little glutton. There's plenty more—plenty for you to eat later."
