The weather wasn't great on Sunday; it was still raining outside the castle.
At seven o'clock in the morning, just as dawn was breaking, Albert, who had just washed up and was yawning, was being carried by his excited roommates to the auditorium for breakfast.
"I really don't understand, what's so exciting about this?" Albert said, shaking off the twins' hands and straightening his robe.
"That's Hogsmeade, the most fun place in all of Britain," Lee Jordan exclaimed dramatically.
"All of Britain?" Albert sighed softly, feeling that he was not on the same wavelength as the three people next to him.
On their way to the castle hall, the twins practiced the Light Charm as they walked. Unfortunately, they were bumped into by Filch.
Then, poor George was caught by Filch and taken to the administrator's office.
Filch happily took a large roll of parchment from his desk drawer, spread it out in front of him, and then picked up his long black quill pen, dipped it in the inkwell:
Name... George Weasley.
Crime... Randomly using spells in the corridor
Recommendations...Punishment recommendations...
"Ahem, I only used the Luminous Charm because my vision was dim. You know, it's still early, and there were torches in the corridor..." George lied through his teeth, pointing out that there were torches in the corridor they had just passed.
"…to clean the chamber pots at the school clinic." Filch glanced at George, a malicious smile playing on his lips. "Perfect timing, the school clinic's chamber pots haven't been cleaned all summer."
George's expression froze.
"You can leave now, but you better not let me see you using magic in the hallway." Filch grinned triumphantly as he ushered George out of the administrator's office.
"Pfft!" Albert couldn't help but laugh after hearing George's words. He reached out and patted George's shoulder to comfort him, "Don't worry, I can teach you a very simple cleaning spell. Cleaning the chamber pot and stuff will be done in no time. Besides, Filch only offered a punishment suggestion; in fact, he can't punish you directly."
"That guy is awful." George glanced at Filch's office door, looking extremely annoyed; nobody wanted to wash the chamber pot.
"Don't be upset, I'll treat you to a butterbeer later." Albert couldn't help but laugh again, and quickly changed the subject, "By the way, tell me what you saw in Filch's office just now?"
"What do you see? There are lots of drawers in there, and handcuffs and shackles hanging on the wall behind the desk." George complained after thinking carefully, "That old guy, no, that old pervert, must have some weird fetish."
Actually, Albert thought that the "old glutton" Hagrid had chosen might be more suitable for Filch, since as a Squib, he really was as useless as a glutton at Hogwarts.
Ordinary people should stay in the world of ordinary people and enjoy the happiness of ordinary people.
However, he didn't voice his thoughts, since it wasn't a good idea to give someone such an insulting nickname.
"Anything else?" Albert asked again. "He must have confiscated quite a lot of things!"
"Yes, I did see a sign on a filing cabinet drawer that read: Confiscated supplies, highly dangerous."
"I reckon he put all the confiscated items in there." Fred's eyes lit up, seemingly very interested in the contents of the drawer.
"If it were truly highly dangerous, it wouldn't be placed in a place like that." Albert remembered something good: the Marauder's Map of Hogwarts, which should be kept in there.
"Yes, we think so too." The twins looked at each other and couldn't help but laugh.
"You don't want to… give them a opening," Albert warned. "Otherwise, you'll definitely be in trouble."
The twins protested in unison, "That's slander! How could we do such a thing?"
British breakfasts are always the most substantial. Albert made himself a bowl of oatmeal porridge with milk, and put a fried egg, two slices of bacon, two slices of bread, a sausage, and a small portion of vegetable salad on his plate.
"Hi, good morning!" a boy greeted the twins as he passed by.
"I remember you were Hufflepuff…" Lee Jordan couldn't recall the boy's name for a moment and looked to Albert for help.
"Cedric Diggory," the boy introduced himself.
"Hello Cedric," the twins greeted their neighbor. "I didn't expect you to be in Hufflepuff."
"I don't think Hufflepuff is bad." Cedric didn't like people saying bad things about Hufflepuff.
"We didn't say anything bad about him."
"Gryffindor is just better."
The Weasley twins each said one line.
"Long time no see, Albert." Another person walked over and greeted Albert. "I didn't expect you to be in Gryffindor. It really surprised me."
"Long time no see, Gabriel," Albert greeted his pen pal with a smile.
"You two know each other?" Cedric Diggory asked, puzzled. He had a good relationship with his senior.
"Of course we know each other. We met during summer vacation." Gabriel gave Diggory a mysterious smile. "The one I mentioned to you…"
Cedric Diggory looked at Albert with great surprise. He had heard Gabriel mention the incident himself, but he had never mentioned the man's name.
After Gabriel walked away, the twins looked at each other and said in unison, "Could it be...?"
"What is it?" Li Qiaodan hadn't reacted yet.
The twins looked at each other and said, "That matter!"
"Which thing?" The guy still didn't understand.
"Ahem, good to know, but remember to keep it a secret!" Albert coughed lightly, otherwise he wouldn't give you a Christmas present this winter break.
"We'll keep it a secret," the twins said meaningfully, crossing their index fingers and putting them to their lips to indicate that they would keep it strictly confidential.
"Hey, don't exclude me, you three bastards." Li Qiaodan was very unhappy, feeling excluded from this little circle.
"Ahem, newspaper, do you remember what we talked about on the train when we came to Hogwarts?" Fred reminded him.
"50 Galleons," George reminded him.
"Wow, that thing!" Li Qiaodan immediately understood what was going on. "How did you manage to do that back then...?"
"I don't want the whole school to know about this." Albert put a finger to his lips to shut the three of them up.
"Well, you're really something!" The Weasley brothers still admired Albert's methods; they wished they could earn 25 Galleons so easily.
"No wonder you were willing to gamble away all the Galon you got," Lee Jordan said sourly.
"It's not like we'll necessarily lose," Albert said dismissively. "Do you know why wands made of redwood are so popular among wizards?"
"Can it bring good luck?" George asked uncertainly.
"Yes." Albert continued to bluff, "At the time, I had a feeling that I might make a lot of money by betting, so I took the gamble."
