The next day everyone was already on the port of the island. The water here was deep and constantly moving, so it didn't freeze up, but the temperature was still in the negatives.
"Is everyone ready?" Raeven asked, and the trainees answered yes.
"Then everyone can start; as for me, I'll wait for you guys on Grove 10. Good luck," he said, and then everyone saw him walk on the water, which surprised everyone.
"He really knows how to show off," Stussy said as she giggled.
"That is a devil fruit ability, right? Even so, seeing it personally even after many times is still shocking," Mihawk said.
Then, just as planned, Enel headed towards Grove 3, where he will be stationed while the challenge is happening, and Mihawk headed towards Grove 7.
The trainees dive towards the sea one by one, and the first one to arrive at Grove 1 is none other than Hancock, as expected. She outclasses everyone here; her stay here at Sixis Island is all gains.
From being saved from her and her sisters' tragic future, they are not the same as they are in the original story.
Having Monet's perfect development diet, they grew up strong, the perfect version of themselves.
Sandersonia and Marigold grew taller than Hancock, but their body shapes are still the same: slim and perfectly proportional.
Even Monet, Robin, and Hancock are a lot bigger in height too; luckily for Raeven, he's already tall at 9 feet tall, just a little shorter than Enel. Mihawk is a lot bigger than his original version, standing at 7'6".
Eating and exercising can really make someone grow taller.
At Grove 10 Raeven is building some snowmen with Sugar. Sugar, using her Devil Fruit to control the snow, made a large snowman that she can control to walk. You can call it walking, but the truth is the snowman is sliding on the snow.
Not that Raeven minded; seeing her youngest sister happy playing in the snow is all he needs. After a while, the two of them started to play around and build some things while waiting for someone to arrive, which Raeven doubted.
While Sea Kings won't attack that frequently, they still attack, and swimming in water this cold can burn a lot of stamina. Raeven estimated that Hancock will finish this challenge in just 4-5 days, while Ace might take 7-8 days.
After the first day, the elites of the challengers all reached Grove 3; 2 days later, Hancock reached Grove 7. Behind her are her 2 sisters, Monet and Robin. Another 2 days later, and as Raeven expected, Hancock is the first to arrive at Grove 10 at noon.
As usual, her face became red when she saw Raeven, and white steam came out of her head; she really is adorable.
"Congratulations, Hancock, you are in first place, and your performance throughout the whole challenge is great, so tell me, aside from the Advance Haki training and the room at the Dracule Tower, what else do you want?" Raeven asked.
"Uhm, uhm, I want you to give me a ring like Empress Tritoma had." With a lot of stuttering and a lot of stops, Hancock finally said what she wants.
Raeven stopped for a while, then he said to Hancock,
"That's an engagement ring that Mihawk gave to her. Do you know what an engagement ring is?" Raeven asked.
"Of course I know Shakky-san told me about it, so in the future I want you to give me an engagement ring too," Hancock said very cutely. Fortunately, Raeven's willpower is very strong, or else Hancock's charm would affect him.
"Monet and Robin already agreed about it; the three of us made a sister pact already," she added, which made Raeven's lip twitch.
In the end he just sighed and nodded, which made Hancock very happy. As the sky began to turn dark, Monet, Robin, Sandersonia, and Marigold arrived at Grove 10. After telling Monet and Robin about what happened, the two of them began to become like Hancock before; their faces became red and white, and steam could be seen on their heads.
Days passed, and after the challenge ended, everyone returned to the Sixis Island. As the best performer of the challenge, Hancock was given her own room, which she said that she will share with her sisters. She was given the 8th floor as her own, and then she was given a black single earring that is designed from Silence, which she wore on her left ear.
Everyone wants to have that earring too, especially those who came from Raeven himself. Out of all the women here, only Monet and Robin are not envious of the earring. Monet already had a pendant made from pure gold, and she wears it as a necklace, while Robin had a bracelet made of pure gold too.
Now Hancock had one too. Monet and Robin quickly congratulated her. That night a banquet was set, and everyone partied late, celebrating the end of the special training.
The next day, while Raeven is busy doing some fishing on Grove 10, Enel arrives, bringing a newspaper.
The headline of the news is "A prince turned to a princess," which surprised Raeven.
"The rumors said that a cadre of the Revolutionary Army is the suspect in this; his/her devil fruit power can turn a man into a woman," Enel said.
"That's right, the Hormone fruit; that's a very dangerous Paramecia devil fruit," Raeven said. In the future, if he somehow met Ivankov, he would exercise caution; he didn't want to be an X-Man.
"Imagine someone just stabbed you, and you will become a girl permanently," Raeven added, which made Enel's hair stand up.
"Do you know what the name of the user of this fruit is, big brother? If I see him in the future, I won't go near this guy," Enel said.
"His name is Ivankov. He and everyone who likes him are called Okamas, but I prefer calling them X-Men," Raeven said.
"Ivankov, the cadre of the Revolutionary Army, he's the one with a large face, right?" Enel asked, and Raeven nodded.
After talking for a while and asking some things, Enel left. A little later, Mihawk arrived; he brought out a small table, a chair, and a fishing rod too, and then he placed two bottles of beer on it.
"What are your plans for Jaya Island?" Mihawk asked.
"My plan is to clean it up and set a base there. Skypeia is right above it; setting a base there would be good," Raeven said as he drank his booze.
"I'll go there once winter ends. Tritoma told me that they want a foothold at paradise too. I think that letting them establish a base there is good too," Mihawk said.
"Then we'll go with that plan, once Ace grew up, we can all head to new world where the World Government's control is the weakest" Raeven said
"Are we going to search for the One Piece too?" Mihawk asked.
"We're not; we are going to prepare, prepare for war and the disaster that might happen," Raeven said as he looked at his fishing rod, which made a small movement.
"A war? How big is that war going to be, brother?" Mihawk asked.
"That's I don't know yet, but it will be massive, but we still have a lot of time to prepare, so no rushing. What we need right now is to slowly grow stronger, so in the future if a war breaks out, then we won't be powerless to act," Raeven said.
"Do they have that kind of power?" Mihawk asked. Raeven just smiled and answered immediately.
"On the surface they have the Marines; in the shadow of that they have the Cipher Pol; in the God Valley we saw some of their secret force called the God's Knight, and there are the five elders, then the ruler of them all."
"They controlled the world for 800 years; without having a strong power, that's impossible," Raeven said.
"Then are you afraid of them, brother?" Mihawk asked seriously.
"I'm not. Why would I be afraid of the idiots who are scared of a single guy?"
"You see, with my current strength I am confident that even if the five elders all arrive here, even if I can't find a way to permanently erase them, they won't have an easy time here," Raeven said as he grinned widely, imagining the five elders landing here.
Cracks of Conqueror's Haki, like lightning bolts, began to leak from his body, which made the fish on the port knock out.
"Brother," Mihawk said as he looked at his brother.
"Sorry, wahahahahaha," Raeven said as he laughed. Mihawk just sighed; most of the time his brother is calm and level-headed, but once he starts to imagine something, he becomes excited, and he will unconsciously use his Conqueror's Haki like this.
"Well, just don't think about it too much right now; like I said, that's in the future," Raeven said as he began to scoop the fishes knocked out by his conqueror's Haki.
"Here, grab this net and help me scoop out the fishes," Raeven said as he handed the net to Mihawk.
