Chapter 1 - Super Infinityverse System

In a pure white expanse stretching as far as the human eye could see, a human boy floated aimlessly through the void.

His name was Alan.

Just moments ago, he had been peacefully playing games, reading comics, and skimming through novels. When he stepped outside to buy himself some snacks, everything ended abruptly.

It wasn't the infamous Truck-kun.

No—Alan was simply unlucky enough to be crushed to death by a falling signboard.

And now, here he was—floating endlessly with a bored expression on his face.

"Tch… when will this end?"

Alan muttered for what felt like the hundredth time. He had already lost count of how many times he'd said those words.

Sigh… did they forget to send me to heaven or hell? Or am I already in hell?

He rubbed his temples helplessly.

Suddenly, a golden screen popped up in front of him.

"…What?"

He blinked and instinctively reached out to touch it.

[Welcome to the Super Infinity Verse System]

[With this system, the host can travel to all fantasy worlds they have read and live within them]

[First-time gacha available. Please spin to determine your first destination world]

"What… are you for real? This looks exactly like those systems from novels."

Alen stared at the screen in disbelief.

[Please spin the gacha]

"Hmm? Dumb system that doesn't even answer questions?"

He snorted but reached out anyway, pressing the spinning button with a lazy flick.

"Well, I guess its also fine." Alen muttered. He had seen far too many protagonists get screwed over by system that talk too much.

[Gacha rolling…]

A holographic gacha wheel presence filled the white space as the gacha wheel began to spin, glowing symbols flashing rapidly before slowing down.

Finally, it stopped.

[Congratulations, Host. Your first world is: Overgeared]

[Now, Host, please select the difficulty.]

[Easy]

[Normal]

[Hard]

[Insane]

"Well… Overgeared is exactly a pure virtual-reality world," Alen muttered to himself. "So I guess Hard mode it is."

He tapped the option without hesitation.

[Hard Mode selected.]

[Penalty Applied:]

Host can no longer obtain the Pagma's Successor class.

Host cannot actively seize opportunities directly meant for Grid.

[Failure to comply with these penalties will result in death and forced reincarnation.]

"Hm. That's fine," Alen said calmly. "There are tons of other broken opportunities in that world."

If anything, the restrictions only made things more interesting.

[Now, Host, please spin the Template Gacha.]

[This gacha grants the Host a template based on protagonists from similar genres.]

"So… you're saying I could potentially get Weed from The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor, or that BJ Archmage guy, huh?"

Alan nodded to himself and pressed the spin button.

The gacha wheel appeared again, spinning rapidly before slowing to a halt.

It stopped on—

Grid.

"…Huh?"

Alan frowned in confusion.

[Congratulations, Host, on obtaining Grid from Overgeared.]

[Host will now receive all opportunities belonging to Grid from Overgeared…]

[...Error.]

[Recalibrating… Completed.]

[Due to Template Gacha oppurtunities and Hard Mode penalties clashing against each other, two alternative class options have been generated for the Host.]

[Option 1: Pauld's Successor]

A legendary-class successor similar to Pagma

Based on Pauld, a great magician who was completely overshadowed by Braham

Base Type: Hybrid of Great Magician and Legendary Magic Blacksmith

[Option 2: Albantino Class]

A peak-tier Unique Blacksmith Class

A master blacksmith standing just one step below forging legendary equipment

Upon forging a true legendary item, the class will evolve into a Legendary Class

[If Host selects Option 1, the Pauld's Successor class will be granted and all penalties will remain unchanged.]

[If Host selects Option 2, the Host may waive one penalty.]

[ Plus Host will also get the Trait Overwhelming Prodigy no matter what option host chooses ]

[ Overwhelming Prodigy : You learn anything very easily ]

"Can't the options be changed?" Alan asked. He clearly wasn't a fan of magic-based playstyles.

[The classes are generated based on Grid's early progression.]

[They cannot be changed.]

"Sigh… fine. Give me the Albantino Successor class," Alan said, rubbing his temples.

[Information on how to acquire this class has now been engraved into the Host's mind.]

[Host reincarnation will begin in ten seconds.]

[System entering sleep mode. Current authority exhausted.]

[Best of luck, Host.]

Alan stared at the system screen as the ten-second countdown began.

"Well… I guess no other system rewards from now on," he muttered quietly.

10… 9… 8…

As the countdown reached zero, the white expanse exploded into blinding light. Alan was forced to close his eyes as his consciousness was violently pulled away.

When he finally opened them again—

He was lying on a soft bed.

As Alan slowly sat up, a flood of memories surged into his mind—memories of this new life, along with detailed knowledge of how to obtain the Albantino's Successor class.

"…Hmm. I'm an orphan, and my name is Alan Silva," he muttered.

He stood up and walked toward the window, pulling the curtains aside.

Outside was a breathtaking view.

He was currently living in a luxury apartment in Rio de Janiero. He is an citizen of Brazil in this life.

In this life, Alan was an orphan—but also a genius. Thanks to his extraordinary talent in the stock market, he had already accumulated enough wealth to comfortably sit back and relax for the rest of his life if he wanted to.

Not bad, he thought calmly.

Ring—

The doorbell suddenly rang.

Alan walked over and opened the door, already having a rough idea of what it was.

"Oh, that's here already," he said quietly.

Standing outside was the staff team responsible for installing the Satisfy immersion capsule.

It had only been a week since Satisfy had officially launched worldwide.

Grid wouldn't obtain the Pagma's Successor class until a full year later.

Of course, Alan himself could never take that class anyway—

he had chosen to waive the second penalty, not the first.

After all, what was the point? The Pagma's Successor class itself wasn't inherently powerful. It was only because of Grid's countless opportunities that the class became truly terrifying.

If not for that, it would have remained weak—just as the creator of Satisfy had once said when asked whether the Legendary Blacksmith was the strongest class.

It's not the class that's overpowered. It's the one using it.

"But…" Alan's gaze shifted toward the VR immersion capsule being carefully installed in his room.

Crafting a true legendary item will be difficult, he thought.

Very difficult.
