Sophia's heart was racing as she realized she was trapped. Lady Margaret's eyes seemed to gleam with triumph as she nodded to someone behind Sophia.
Sophia spun around to see a group of palace guards emerging from the shadows, their faces stern and unyielding. She knew she was in serious trouble.
"Take her to the Queen," Lady Margaret ordered, her voice cold.
The guards moved forward, their hands reaching for Sophia. She knew she had to act fast. She took a deep breath and made a run for it, dodging the guards' grasping hands.
She sprinted through the windmill, her heart pounding in her chest. She could hear the guards behind her, their footsteps echoing off the walls.
She burst out of the windmill and into the night air, gasping for breath. She knew she couldn't outrun the guards for long. She needed a plan, and she needed it fast.
Suddenly, she heard a voice behind her. "Sophia, get in the car!"
She turned to see Prince Henry's car pulling up beside her. She didn't hesitate, diving into the backseat as the guards closed in.
"Go, go, go!" Prince Henry shouted, and the car sped off into the night.
Sophia's heart was racing as she realized what had just happened. "How did you find me?" she asked, her voice shaking.
"I had a feeling something was wrong," Prince Henry said, his eyes fixed on the road. "I tracked your phone. We're heading to the palace. We need to confront the Queen."
Sophia's stomach dropped as she realized what was about to happen. A royal showdown was brewing, and she was right in the middle of it.
As they pulled up to the palace, Sophia could see the tension in the air. The guards were on high alert, and the palace staff were rushing around in a panic.
Prince Henry grabbed Sophia's hand, his eyes blazing with determination. "Let's do this," he said.
Together, they marched into the throne room, ready to face the Queen and demand the truth.
The Queen sat on her throne, her eyes cold and unyielding. "Ah, Sophia," she said, her voice dripping with disdain. "I see you've finally arrived."
Prince Henry stepped forward, his voice firm. "Mother, we know what you've done. You're going to pay for your crimes."
The Queen raised an eyebrow, a small smile playing on her lips. "Oh, I think not," she said, her voice cold.
And with that, the royal showdown began.
