Chapter 47 - Chapter 46;: A Palace in Crisis

The palace was in chaos. The Queen's arrest had sent shockwaves throughout the kingdom, and the corridors were filled with whispered rumors and speculation. Sophia, still trying to process the events of the past few days, was ushered into Prince Henry's chambers, where a council of advisors was waiting.

"We need to act fast," one of the advisors, a stern-looking woman named Lady Margaret, was saying. "The Queen's supporters are rallying, and we can't predict what they'll do next."

Prince Henry nodded, his face set in a determined expression. "We need to address the kingdom, and fast. We need to reassure the people that everything is under control."

Sophia's eyes widened as she realized what he was implying. "You want me to go with you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Prince Henry turned to her, his eyes serious. "You're the true heir to the throne, Sophia. You need to be seen, and you need to speak to the people."

Sophia's mind was reeling. She had never spoken in public before, let alone addressed an entire kingdom. But as she looked into Prince Henry's eyes, she knew she had no choice.

"I'll do it," she said, her voice steady.

The council of advisors nodded, and began to prepare for the address. Sophia, meanwhile, was ushered to a small room to prepare herself.

As she sat in front of the mirror, staring at her reflection, Sophia felt a sense of calm wash over her. She thought about all the people who had supported her, all the people who had believed in her. She thought about Prince Henry, and the way he made her feel.

And she knew that she was ready.

The address was a blur of nerves and adrenaline, but Sophia's voice never waked. She spoke of hope and unity, of a kingdom that was strong and resilient. She spoke of a future where everyone was equal, and where everyone had a voice.

As she finished speaking, the crowd erupted into cheers, and Sophia felt a sense of pride and purpose that she had never felt before.

But as she turned to Prince Henry, she saw a look of concern on his face.

"What's wrong?" she asked, her voice low.

"We've got a problem," he said, his eyes scanning the crowd. "The Queen's supporters are getting restless. We need to get you to safety."

Sophia's heart skipped a beat as she realized the danger was far from over.
