Chapter 12 - Chapter 12: Trapped in the Palm Lines

Su Qingwan was of course completely unaware of all this. After folding Su Chen's quilt, she set it aside, and then very naturally reached her hand towards Su Chen's pillow.

Meanwhile, Su Chen, who had crashed onto the pillow, let alone whether he had internal injuries, his whole person was now feeling dizzy. The impact force he delivered to the pillow wasn't very great, so naturally, he wasn't sent flying.

"Cough cough..."

Su Chen coughed a few times, shaking his dizzy head, but before he could make any move, he saw a gigantic hand descending towards his direction.

How big was Su Chen?

How big was Su Qingwan's hand now?

Even if Su Chen wanted to escape now, it was already too late.

Su Qingwan's small hand directly covered the area above Su Chen. At this moment, Su Chen could actually see the lines on Su Qingwan's fair, tender palm with utter clarity.

Those palm lines were like massive chasms to him now. He subconsciously closed his eyes.

Su Qingwan grabbed Su Chen's pillow, completely unaware that the Su Chen she had been hoping to see was now right in the palm of her hand.

She originally intended to place Su Chen's pillow on top of his quilt and then use her own pillow, but after picking up the pillow, Su Qingwan changed her mind. She put the pillow back and tossed the one she had brought over to the side.

Where was the poor Su Chen now?

He didn't know where he was either, only feeling like he was being pinched by something, with huge walls on both sides. He was stuck there like the filling in a sandwich biscuit, unable to move.

In reality, it was unclear whether this was Su Chen's luck or misfortune.

When Su Qingwan grabbed the pillow earlier, Su Chen's position happened to shift to the lines of Su Qingwan's palm, and, as luck would have it, she grabbed him onto her hand.

In terms of palmistry, the palm line Su Chen was currently lying on was the location of Su Qingwan's heart line.

This heart line becomes apparent when the palm is naturally curved. When the hand moves, the palm lines in this position can pinch up small things, and Su Chen was now that small thing.

Su Qingwan was still arranging the bed. The extra little thing in her palm didn't give her much sensation, so she naturally wouldn't deliberately check what it was. This was also related to Su Chen not moving at all; Su Chen wasn't a fool and knew about the sensitivity of the human body.

For a girl, if she felt something alive suddenly on her body, her first reaction definitely wouldn't be to curiously check what it was, but to subconsciously assume that thing was a bug.

Then she would frantically shake her arm or twist her body to fling that thing off.

Only after confirming her safety might she have a slight interest in checking what exactly she had just thrown off.

But could Su Chen really stay here peacefully?

Impossible. Let's not even mention whether Su Qingwan's hand might rub against something else.

It's just that after finishing work, whether intentionally or not, people mostly make one gesture: they clap their hands together. Su Chen had seen Su Qingwan make this gesture more than once when she was doing housework.

She spread out her own quilt, glanced roughly at Su Chen's bed; her tidying up could be considered quite neat.

Although Su Chen was relatively casual, he wasn't to the point of being sloppy, so it was just a bit messy, but not dirty. Otherwise, Su Qingwan probably wouldn't have considered coming to Su Chen's room to sleep.

After finishing arranging the bed, Su Qingwan even put on a serious act, resting her index finger on her chin and carefully examining the entire room.

She nodded lightly. It looked generally pretty good. Su Chen's room wasn't messy to the point of being an eyesore.

It was just miserable for Su Chen, who was pinched in the lines of Su Qingwan's palm. A powerful squeezing force came from both sides simultaneously, making Su Chen feel he could be crushed into a pancake at any moment. Even breathing became difficult; the air in his chest seemed about to be forced out by this pressure.

Su Qingwan was very satisfied with her results. This was the first time she had come to sleep in Su Chen's room since she was fourteen. Somehow, coming here really gave her a sense of peace.

It felt as if Su Chen was right by her side. Of course, just as Su Chen predicted, Su Qingwan subconsciously prepared to clap her hands together, then get into bed to sleep.

She certainly never imagined-what feeling of Su Chen being by her side?

Su Chen was on her body right now, right in the palm of her hand. That gesture of clapping her hands to dust them off might very well flatten Su Chen along with the dust.

One could call it a coincidence, or not. When people clap their hands to dust them off, the palms will subconsciously open up. Su Chen, of course, knew what Su Qingwan's next move was.

He also wanted to take advantage of when Su Qingwan's palm lines opened to jump directly out of her palm. But before Su Chen could make any move, Su Qingwan's hand opened.

Su Chen, who had been preparing to jump out, felt the pressure around him vanish instantly. Before he could even steady himself, he directly fell out from Su Qingwan's palm. Before Su Qingwan's two jade hands collided with each other, he had already escaped this extremely dangerous zone.

Su Qingwan's hands were now raised in front of her chest. The distance from Su Chen to the bed was at least several hundred meters. As he fell from Su Qingwan's palm, Su Chen subconsciously closed his eyes. This time, he was truly done for!

But this might also be the best choice. Su Chen didn't want Su Qingwan's hands stained with his blood, even if she knew nothing about it.

With a thud, Su Chen landed on the bedsheet, his eyes still tightly shut. But surprisingly, the expected pain didn't come from within his body.

Su Chen thought he must have died from the fall, and thus wouldn't have any sensation, so he didn't think much of it. But just then, the sound of Su Qingwan clapping her hands came from above. Perception might disappear, but since this sound existed, it indicated one thing.

He was actually still alive!

Su Chen didn't know how this was possible, but being alive was ultimately a good thing.

He opened his eyes and saw the gigantic Su Qingwan standing by the bed. Her elegant figure stood beside the bed; though immense, she was still beautiful, wearing a cartoon nightgown. Right in front of him were Su Qingwan's two fair, slender legs.

But now, the cartoon pattern wasn't cute at all, and the slenderness looked enormous.

"This probably compares to Mount Buzhou..." Su Chen thought to himself.

At this moment, the moonlight from outside the window shone in, falling on Su Qingwan, enveloping her in a halo of light. Su Chen looked up at that enormous, pretty face in the sky above.

For the first time, he discovered that his younger sister wasn't just cute; she was also breathtakingly beautiful.
