First born to the Storm family. *he morphs into the form of flat sheet of paper before he slides underneath the door to hide from Rumi* So basically I come from a family filled with OP genetics in order to do a family given task. Rumi: *she lets out a deep exhale filled with relief as she finally turns to look at him* I suppose I can… *she grins arrogantly before patting him on the top of his head* [Later that afternoon, at the Endeavour agency] Endeavour: *his eyes widen as he looks at the number of his sidekicks have been left hospitalised due to being left in critical condition* Something isn't right here… *he looks over at a newspaper article* Huh… All the ones left injured are under my company! *he rips the newspaper before he storms out of the office* Secretary: *she nervously walks alongside him* Sorry to disturb you, sir, but more of your sidekicks have been confirmed injured… Endeavour: *he aggressively knocks over a vase before stepping into the elevator* This is a deliberate attack to my image and one that will not be left untouched. Find me a pair of heroes-in-training, immediately. I think I know how to draw out this villain. *he folds his arms as the elevator door closes* Secretary: *she nervously runs back to her desk* [A few days later, Storm family Residence, living room] Yahiko: *smiles as he eats his food, gently swaying his head back and forth whilst letting out a gentle hum* Yukio: *he looks at Yahiko with worry* Mommy, elder brother's making that scary face again! 『Name: Yukio Storm, Quirk: Starlight Nebula, Age: 6, Yahiko's youngest sibling』 Yuna: *she waves it off as she looks at Yukio* Don't worry, sweety. [A couple of years ago, on a particularly rainy day] Little boy: *he looks at the dead mother and child in a mini van* Sir… You know I didn't mean to… I was trying to help… Endeavour: *he turns to the boy and furiously grabs him by the collar before lifting his up* Who the hell do you think you are, you idiot?! Out of all the things your quirk could have done, you used it to lead to the death of the innocent! Little boy: *he slowly begins to cry as he looks down at Endeavour* I didn't mean to, I swear! *he looks around and sees the citizens look at him with disgust* I didn't mean to… I swear! Endeavour: *he turns to look at the boy before he gives him a devastating backhand which knocks him outcold* [The present, in a run-down apartment building] Rue: *he touches his face, remembering the feeling of getting smacked by Endeavour* Endeavour… *he smiles before he vanishes* [Meanwhile, on the top of a building] Yahiko: *brooding at the edge of the building as the wind dramatically blows his cape* The city is safe…But for how long. Rumi: *she jumps onto his back and puts him in a sleeper hold position* Why the hell didn't you tell me about your departure, you dweeb! You want to run away from your girlfriend or something?! Yahiko: *he lets out tiny sounds as he fails his arms* Rumi, this isn't how I envisioned being choked by you was gonna be like! Let go! Your thighs are crushing me, also not in the way I envisioned! Rumi: *he jumps off of him before slamming him onto the ground* Now talk! Yahiko: *he slowly tries to breathe normally again* Okay. My mom's family kinda has this contractual agreement to the world. Since our quirks are seen as nuclear weapons, our family isn't given the opportunity to all be in Japan and so to compensate they made a deal with my great-grandfather who signed us up for the Storm programme. A Storm is supposed to have three kids. The first and the second borns are auctioned by world leaders and the one with the highest bid gets to make the Storm a hero in that country. When I graduate high school the next year, I'm immediately off to the county that bid highest for me. And that would be the United States of America. Rumi: *she looks over at him as a wave of guilt floods her head* Are you at least happy about your departure? Yahiko: *he sits up with a contempt look on his face, whilst answering to the question dryly* Yeah… I'm thrilled… Over the moon. I'm gonna earn a large amount of cash, a ranking in the top 10 of the American hero system and probably even a comfortable home with tons of rooms. Rumi: *she sits next to him* You're lucky, you know. People would kill for what you have. You know… I was expelled from my prior school because they thought I was too rebellious. Yahiko: *he turns to look over at her before he turns to look over at the forth wall with a knowing look* Rumi: *she leans her head against his shoulder before placing her hand ontop of his* I guess what I mean is… *he ears twitch before she grabs onto Yahiko and jumping out of the way* Rue: *stomps of the building they were standing on and causes a massive shockwave to surge all over* Seems I left a few sidekicks untouched. Don't worry… *he appears in frnt of Yahiko, and punches him on the face, sending him flying towards the next building* Rumi: *her eyes widen before she gets up and tries to kick him on the face* Rue: *he vanishes before he appears behind her and grabs her arm* Rumi: *she grins before she twists her body so quickly that she knee strikes him on the chin, sending crashing to the next building top* Who the hell are you?! Rue: *he rolls his eyes before he wipes his mouth* First of all, ow! What are your legs made of?! Steel?! *he stands up properly* The name's Rue. Considering that I gave you my name, it's customary for you to give me yours before I defeat you. Rumi: Before you… *her eyes widen* Rue: *he appears in front of her before he gutchecks her, followed by a uppercut which send Rumi flying back* I must say for a while there you had me… I won't lie to you… You're kinda strong. *he walks over to her slowly* So I guess I can tell you about my quirk. It's called Second Jumping. My quirk allows me to move at a rate which the human eye cannot perceive for a couple of seconds at a time. So when you see me dissappear or reappear it's not that actually happening. It's more like your eyes can't detect me moving for so long that I straight up just vanish in your perception… Yahiko: *he pops up from the ground and tries to punch Rue* Rue: *he vanishes before appearing behind Yahiko* Yahiko: *he immediately swings his body before he starts punching the air at an insane rate* Rue: *he appears before feels the impact of those punches combined* The hell… How… He shouldn't have been able to perceive me… That's not how this works! Yahiko: *he stops punching the air before he puts on a cowboy hat* That looked cool right? Rue: *he blinks in slight confusion* You! How the hell did you perceive me whilst I was travelling faster than your eyes can perceive. It makes no sense! Yahiko: *he stretches* That's kinda how my quirk works. When I hear how something works, my body is able to break the rules to the abilities foundation. Rue: *his face twitches with rage* That's not fair! You're a walking Deus Ex Machina! Yahiko: *he looks over at 4th wall* You see what the author did there? He literally told you how my quirk works. *he turns to look at Rue and sees he isn't there anymore* Oh crap… Rumi: *she walks over to Yahiko* You have got to tell me everything about that quirk of yours. [Later that afternoon, Endeavour's office] Endeavour: *he looks the two with his arms crossed* Are you certain his name was Rue? Rumi: *she nods her head* We need serious information on this guy because he really looks the type of guy to kill when really sent off the edge. Yahiko: *he looks over at the fourth wall* And unfortunately I have to be the author's power tester. Great work, Mister Exquisite. This better get a lot of reads. Endeavour: *he looks at Yahiko with confusion* Why does he always turn to look to the left and talks like that? Rumi: *she shakes her head* I tried to get the answer to that but there's something wrong in that cute head of his. Endeavour: *he exhales before he stands up* A year after I made my agency, I held an audition to determine who could be my right-hand sidekick on the field. One of the many who auditioned was a little boy named Rue Masataka. He was 10 at the time I hired him… Yahiko: *his eyes widen before he side eyes Rumi* Endeavour: His quirk was a marvel to behold and so I took him under my wing and with all the physics I studied, I was able to make him a bona fide sidekicks. But one day as I was chasing a villain, Rue had gotten on the road to chase the villain. A car that had a mother and her daughter in it saw Rue and the villain and tried to turn to safety. Rue used his quirk to evade but the car hit the villain and a brick wall, killing all three in the process. I scolded him in public in hopes that he would have stopped his dream of being a hero. He left a week later and I haven't heard from him since. About a year ago I lost my first son in a fire accident and only then did I learn to appreciate the youth of our society. So I suppose you two are his next definite targets. I promise that he won't do anything to hurt either one of you. [Later that night, in an abandoned warehouse] Rue: *he enters before he bows his head* Good evening sir… Can you please bestow a great quirk upon me? All For One: *smiling maniacally as he faces Rue*
[The following day, Hiroshima Highschool, school rooftop] Yahiko: *he looks towards the field of students* Rumi: *she paces behind him before stopping* Hey, when we graduate, do you still think you and I are gonna be dating. Yahiko: *he turns to look at her with a smile on his face* What brought on this question? Rumi: *she kneels in beside him* I don't know, dweeb. You might actually be someone who I'm definitely interested in… *she runs her hands through his wavey hair* Yahiko: *a small blush appears on his cheeks as he looks away* What is that supposed to mean… Rumi: *she uses her free hand to holds onto his chin and gently makes him face her* It means I care a lot about you, Yahiko. Yahiko: *his entire face goes red* 「I know what you must be thinking. 'How come I'm folding so hard right now?' Simple answer: She's hot. Deal with it」 Rumi: *she cups his face before leaning in* Yahiko: *he relaxes before he puckers up* 「We're about to see movie magic in 3… 2…」 Rumi: *she stops as she looks at Rue standing behind the two* Rue: *he smiles a she looks at the two with his hands in his pockets* Well now look at the two love birds. Do you understand just how much research I did to ensure I knew about your whereabouts. Yahiko: *he stands up in frustration before shouting at the top of his lungs* Damn you, Mister Exquisite! Rue: *he tilts his head as he stares at Yahiko with confusion* Am I missing something here? Yahiko: *he turns to face Rue with nothing but anger and frustration etched in his face* It's no time to run this gag for the third time, okay! *he pulls out a comically large mallet from his back pocket before he swings it at Rue* Rue: *he vanishes before he appears behind Yahiko* You know what I don't like about you? You talk too much… *he immediately starts punching Yahiko with a large flurry of punches* Yahiko: *he puts his arms up to dodge the brunt of the damage* This isn't your quirk! What the hell did you do? Rue: *appears behind Yahiko* I learned from my past! Rumi: Duck! Yahiko: *he ducks* Rumi: *she swings her foot to kick Rue but misses as he vanishes* Crap… This really isn't his quirk… *she lands next to Yahiko* Due to my rabbit sensing I'm able to detect predatory levels of fast movement. For some reason now I can detect him far better because his body is still intact to our sense of vision. Yahiko: *he gets into a fighting stance as he miraculously has boxing gloves one* Buddy boy betta show his moxey! Rumi: *she looks at Yahiko with an exasperated expression* Please just go vacate the students from the school and call Endeavour. Yahiko: *he nods before he runs towards the door* Rue: *he appears out of nowhere before he punches Yahiko so hard that he gets sent flying towards the next school building* We can't have you doing that, Mr. Storm. Rumi: *she leaps over towards Rue and plants kick to his face* Rue: *he holds his face before he vanishes and reappears behind Rumi, grabbing her arm before trying to slam her into the ground* Rumi: *she holds his arm back before she manages to position her body behind him, managing to lock her legs around his head so she can hurricanrana it into the ground* Rue: *he crashes head first onto the roof before he vanishes and reappears sitting ontop of a water tank with a bloody head* Wow… *he wipes the blood off his head before he stares at his hand blankly* So this is how it feels when someone actually gives you a fight… I actually kinda don't like it all that much. *he gets back up and lifts his hand* Let me show you a neat truck I picked up… Endeavour: *he grabs Rue's hand from behind* That's enough, Rue. Rue: *his eyes widen before he starts visibly getting disgusted at the fact Endeavour was holding onto him* You… *he turns to look at Endeavour and aims his hand towards him* Die for me, okay? *he makes a massive shockwave from his hand that repels Endeavour far* Endeavour: *he crashes into the ground, causing a massive crater* 〔Crap… That's not how his quirk works.〕 Rue: *he aims his hand towards Endeavour* Hmm… Rumi: *she hooks onto him from behind before she German suplexes him through the roof with intense force* Rue: *he vanishes* Rumi: *she looks around before clearing the dirt off of her* Crap… *she sees no one in the class room* No one's here… Rue: *he reappears above Rumi before he blasts her with an intense shockwave which sends her crashing through 3 floor, leaving each of the classes destroyed* You should really focus on what's happening, Rumi! You wouldn't want me to kill you so easily! Rumi: *she gets up from the rubble, panting as she looks up* Where's Yahiko and his cringes jokes when you need him… *she starts running down the school hallway* Rue: *he appears next to her, aiming his arm at her* You're quick, bunny… Endeavour: *he lands directly on the back of Rue before he turns to Rumi* Run upstairs! Rumi: *nods before she runs upstairs* Endeavour: *he aims both of his arms downwards before* Prominence! Rue: *he eyes wide* Hey wait! You'll destroy the entire first floor… Endeavour: Burn! *he blasts a massive amount of fire which has so much firepower, it engulfs the entire first floor of the school* Rue: *appears above Endeavour, shirtless, before he knees Endeavour straight to the side of his head* Endeavour: *he doesn't even move an inch before he swings a fire-covered fist towards Rue* Rue: *he vanishes before reappearing infront of Endeavour and placing his hands on his chest and scream at the top of his lungs as he blasts him with 2 massive shockwaves which completely level the right half of the school* Just die already! Endeavour: *his eyes slowly opens* Rue: *he places his foot onto the chest of Endeavour* The fact that you have the gull to look at me with that face even after you said those words to me… You're just evil! Overclock allows the user to accelerate to extreme speeds, to the point that to the user, it looks like nothing is moving. Meaning, I can move so fast that you can't precisely tell where I am. Now compact that with my original. I can use Overclock to its fullest without any drawback! *he sends a massive shockwave towards Endeavour, completely destroying the entire right side* And as for the shockwave. That's me moving my hands so fast that I create them at will. *as the dust clears he sees a note on the floor at where Endeavour is supposed to be* What… *he picks up the note and reads it* "Thanks for the plot armour pull, bozo. P.S. Turn around." *he turns around and sees Yahiko* Yahiko: *Carrying Endeavour on his shoulder as he looks at Rue with a smile on his face* Hey, buddy. Yahiko: *he nods before he sees one of Yukio's stars* I know. *he puts Endeavour into the star before it vanishes* Rue: *he stomps on the ground* You shouldn't have been able to be alive! Yahiko: *he smiles before he nods his head* I know. Rue: *he appears in front of Yahiko and swings his fist but as he does he sees he's standing behind Yahiko* How did you hear about ? Yahiko: *he turns to face Rue before he manifests bunny ears just like Mirko's* My girlfriend can hear for long distances and once she heard everything she ran immediately to me and spilled the beans. *his ears go back to normal* My quirks true name is Deus Ex Machina. But the writer wanted to conceal that fact so he named it Toon Force because of how ridiculous that word sounds. Rue: Bull shit! *he sends several punches towards Yahiko* Yahiko: *he effortlessly dodges each of the punches before he punches Rue to the floor above* Wow. *he turns to the fourth wall and shrugs his shoulder* Ain't I a stinker? Too corny… *he nods his head* Yeah… I heard it too. *he jumps up to the second floor* Hey, man. You good? Rue: *he vanishes several times before he sends over a thousand punches towards Yahiko* Yahiko: *taps Rue on the shoulder from behind* Hey. Rue: *he trembles before he completely turns to face Yahiko* I'm so sick of you and your plot armour bull shit! *he completely vanishes* Yahiko: *he blinks before he turns left and right* Uhm, buddy… Where did you go? *he slowly starts to cough up large amounts of blood from his mouth before he falls to his knees* Rue: *he reappears with his head smoking* I have a simple… Yahiko: *he punches him on the groin* Low hanging fruit joke! Rue: *he lets out a massive scream before he tries to punch Yahiko* Yahiko: *he weaves out of the way before he punches Rue with 10 consecutive cartoonist punches* Rue: *he crashes backwards before he blitzes towards Yahiko* Yahiko: *simpley moves his head to the side* Rue: *he immediately recovers before he jumps up to the air and tries to hit Yahiko with a spin kick* Yahiko: *he lowers his body to perform the Micheal Jackson lean forward* Shamone! Rue: *he looks at him with bewilderment he aims his hand toward him and blasts a massive shockwave towards him* Yahiko: *he holds onto his hat before he moonwalks to the surge of the shockwave* It's smooth, ain't it? Rue: *he looks at Yahiko with with even more bewilderment before he takes a seat to process what's happening* Yahiko: Good. *he takes off his hat again* Now as I was saying. The hat was empty. *digs into his hat* Now… *he pulls something out of his hat* It's a rabbit! Rumi: *she springs out of the gate before she kicks Rue flush on the face* Yahiko: *he turns to the fourth wall* Okay, I know that was corny but you gotta admit, it was smart. Rue: *he tumbles back before he gets back onto his feet* Rumi and Yahiko: *standing side by side as they hold hands, building up a large surge of energy* Rue: *he turns around and starts running at a normal pace* No… I'm sorry… I didn't… Rumi: *she looks at Yahiko and nods* Yahiko: *he nods before he spins her* Up! Up! And away! *he tosses Rumi towards Rue* Rue: *he looks back and screams* Rumi: *she kicks him with so much force it causes the a massive surge of pressure to cause an explosion* Times up! [Moments later, at the Endeavour agency] Endeavour: *he looks at the two with slight confusion* so you two managed to defeat the villain? Yahiko: *he nods* I don't like to brag but I… Rumi: *she elbows his stomach* Yahiko: *he holds onto his stomach* I mean we had some amazing chemistry. Endeavour: *he nods* I see. Considering that you two both helped out I suppose I can give you these. *he hands the two cheques* Yahiko: *he accepts the the cheque* Thank you, sir… It was no big… *his eyes leap out of his head as he looks at the amount given* Great scott… *he faints onto the floor* Rumi: *she holds onto his legs and drags him out* Thanks again. Endeavour: *he lets out an exasperated sigh before he smiles to himself* Those two… [Moments later, outside the Storm Residence] Yahiko: *he looks over at Rumi* You sure that you wouldn't want me to walks you home? Rumi: *she shakes her head before playing her hand on her hip* I've got that handled. Hey when we're older do you wanna… *she flusters before she turns the other way* You wanna get married or something? Yahiko: *his eyes widen before his entire face goes red* Yes. No doubt. One hundred percent. *he turns to face the fourth wall for the final time* Take notes, shippers. This is how we get motion. *he turns back to face Rumi* I can't believe I'm gonna be nerfed heavy the next time I make an appearance. Rumi: *she places her finger on his mouth* Shut up.
