Our Hero Academia Volume 1: Humble Beginnings

[Many years ago] Izuku: *sitting on the ground crying with bruises all over his body* Why me… Mikima: *walks over to Izuku* You got bullied again, didn't you? Izuku: *nods as he looks down sadly* I want to… Mikima: *he smiles as he places his hand over Izuku's head* Don't worry. The day will come. [Many years later] Izuku: *walking to school along with his brother and friends* Audrey: 『Name: Audrey Nakamura, Age: 14, Quirk: Vampiric Countress』 *looks back at Izuku* Are you okay, Izu? Izuku: *he nods his head as he looks at them* Yeah… I was just thinking about my future and stuff… I don't exactly have a quirk to get accepted to UA…Yukio: 『Name: Yukio Storm, Age: 14, Quirk: Starlight Nebula』 *he shrugs his shoulders and smiles* Think of it as we always do. We'll keep you safe and sound so that we all become a huge success. Audrey: *she nudges Yukio's shoulder* Stormy, stopping that. *she faces Izuku* He didn't mean that Izuku… Izuku: *he smiles as he waves it off* No… No… It's okay I'm used it… Mikima: *he looks at Izuku with worry* Hmm… 『Name: Mikima Midoriya, Age: 14, Quirk: Audio's Reality』 [Later that day after, after school] Izuku: *packing his stuff into his bag* 〔Another day in the shadow of my brother…〕 *he reaches for his hero journal* Katsuki: *takes the book and grins* Deku… Deku… Deku… I heard you're applying UA. Izuku: *he nervously looks at Bakugo as he clenches his fist* Please give me back my book, Kacchan… Katsuki: *his grin turns to a look of disgust* Did you just tell me what to do you normie?! Izuku: *he looks at Katsuki with fear as he tries to take a step back* I'm sorry I didn't mean… Katsuki: *pulls back his fist and gets ready to activate his quirk* It's too late for that you piece of shi… Yukio: *holding Katsuki's arm from behind* Let it go Bakugo. Katsuki: *pulls his arm back before he puts his hands in his pockets* I was just playing with him. *he walks out of the class* Yukio: *gives Izuku his hero journal* You should call one of us if he bothers you… But besides that Mikima is busy with school activities so he'll be leaving later today. Me and Audrey can accompany you home if you want to… Izuku: *he forces his face to smile at Yukio* Thanks for your help, but I've got it… *he takes his bag and leaves the classroom* [Later that Afternoon, in the city] Sludge villain: *running across the block with a bag full of money* I dare anyone to stop me if they can! *his grin widen* All Might: *jumps down from the sky, holding a plastic bag landing on one of his knees* You dare anyone to stop you? *his smile widens as he gets up onto his feet.* Don't worry! For I am here! *he waves towards the cheering crowd* Sludge Villain: *he carefully takes a step back before trying to run away* All Might: *immediately stands next to him and swings his fist towards him* Sludge villain: *narrowly dodges by entering a drain* [Meanwhile, on the other side of the city] Izuku: *he walks forward sadly as he feels his phone ringing* Hmm? *he pulls out his phone from his pocket as he looks at Mikima, trying to call him* It's… *he declines the call as he puts the phone away* Probably wants to protect me like he always has our entire lives… The twin who got a quirk whilst I didn't… *he looks up towards the sky with confidence in his voice* That doesn't matter to me! I'll just keep moving forward! *he smiles as he takes confident steps forward whilst laughing heroically to himself.* Sludge Villain: *slowly creeps out of the drain before he mounts onto Izuku, trying to force himself into his body* Izuku: *falls onto his hands and knees as he desperately tries to scratch himself to safety* 〔Crap… I…〕 *his tears forcibly exiting his eyes as he struggles to breath* 〔Mikima! Yukio! Anybody, please!〕 *he slowly begins to lose consciousness from the resisting.* All Might: *jumps out of a man hole with a smile on his face* Have no fear! For I am here! *he pulls back his fist as his quirk builds up strength in it* Texas! SMASH! *He punches the Sludge villain off of Izuku's body with relative ease as a large surge of wind pushes the villain off as Izuku passes out* [About 12 minutes later] Izuku: *he slowly opens his eyes as he sees Mikima and All Might staring at him* Huh… *he kips up onto his feet* Mikima when did you?! All Might: *grinning confidently* Well, that's simple. I checked inside your book over there and made a quick phone call to your emergency number! Izuku: *he looks at him with pure joy before he checks his book* I… *he sees an autograph as he bows his head in gratitude* Thank you so much! Mikima: *he punches Izuku on the back of his head as he leans his own head down to his level* You scared the living day lights out of me… Do you know how dangerous the world is for someone who's quirkless? Izuku: *he gets his head up and pushes away the hand of Mikima* I… You always treat me like this… Why can't you have faith in me for once?! I'm not a little kid anymore! All Might: *he turns the other way* You should listen to your twin there, Green-haird one. He only means the best for you. *he squats in order to jump away* Well, I must get going! But don't forget to do your best! *he jumps away* Mikima: *sighs as he turns back to look at Izuku but his eyes widen as he cant see him anymore* What the… *he turns back to look over towards All Might and his eyes widen even more as he sees Izuku holding onto his leg* Izuku! *he sighs loudly before he takes a deep breath, only for his eyes to turn blue* Land safely. [Meanwhile, at the top of a building] All Might: *he points st Izuku sternly* You shouldn't have done that! *he sighs as he turns to the railing* Izuku: *he looks at him pleadingly* But I need to know! As a quirkless boy! Will I still be able to be a hero and protect people just like you?! All Might: *he opens his mouth before a large cloud of smoke appears from his body* Izuku: *his eyes widen in shock and worry* All Might! All Might: *in a skinnier form* I can explain… Izuku: *he gasps in shock*
