Chapter 112: The Wind God Pterosaur Strikes
(Quetzalcoatlus the wind God )
Hearing the terrified shouts, the giant elephant also lifted its head toward the sky.
But… that was the last time he ever looked up.
A massive talon, larger than his entire body, came crashing down. A terrifying burst of wind pinned him in place—he couldn't even twitch.
"Poof!"
His prized hide, tough enough to shrug off bullets, tore like paper under the strike. A fountain of blood sprayed upward.
In his huge, widening eyes, a flash of unwillingness flickered. At last, he clearly saw the owner of that colossal talon—
A pterosaur several times larger than the one Nico Robin had transformed into.
Could this… really be Nico Robin's mother?
A strange thought surfaced in his mind, but his consciousness was already fading away.
"Poof…"
The Wind God Pterosaur pulled its claw free, droplets of blood falling.
The giant elephant reverted back into the man in the black suit, a gaping hole in his torso. Blood soaked the ground beneath him.
Boom!
The Wind God Pterosaur landed, sending up a huge wave of dust.
The onlookers who had been spectating from nearby no longer dared to stay close. They fled a full kilometer away—some hid in buildings, others peeked out in fear.
On the ground, Robin had already changed back to human form. Across her back stretched a long, hideous gash, her flesh torn open. Though it looked terrifying, the bleeding had mostly stopped.
Her brow furrowed, her face pale—but she was not seriously harmed.
As long as the vital spots were uninjured, she could recover quickly.
That was one of the gifts of a dinosaur Zoan.
"Thank you, Wind God senior!"
Robin lifted her head and spoke to the enormous pterosaur.
"Yaa~"
The Wind God Pterosaur let out a cry in response, then turned toward the remaining battlefields.
Three fights were still ongoing—Aisha, Buck, and Camon.
Camon was fighting kimo one-on-one, while Aisha and Buck had been split into two separate engagements.
"Roar~"
A terrifying three-meter-tall, nearly ten-meter-long Triceratops was bellowing at three vicious pirates. Its three long black horns gleamed coldly, and its thick, patterned hide radiated an intimidating toughness.
Though Triceratops were herbivores, most small carnivores wouldn't dare provoke one.
Lu Xun once said: No matter how many times you hit me, if I catch you even once—you're done.
That applied to Triceratops as well. If one of those horns hit you, you'd end up with two bloody holes for sure.
But Aisha's condition wasn't good. Wounds covered her body—not deep, but far too many.
The three pirates of the kimo Pirates had found her weakness: they refused to engage head-on. They circled her constantly—whenever she attacked one of them, the other two slashed her from behind.
Even with her thick hide, she couldn't endure that forever.
A Triceratops was simply too slow and not agile enough.
Boom!!
Suddenly, the sky darkened, freezing them in place. They looked up instinctively.
When they saw the enormous Wind God Pterosaur, their throats tightened as if crushed. They couldn't breathe.
Watching that titanic talon crush a five-meter-tall, nearly ten-meter-long giant elephant to death—
Their hearts nearly leapt out of their chests.
They froze, but Aisha did not.
Though she was a woman, she was blazing with rage. Seizing the opening, she lunged at one of the pirates.
"No—!"
He sensed something behind him, spun around—and saw a massive horn right in front of his face. Panic twisted his voice as he tried to dodge.
Too late.
"Poof!"
A horn as thick as a man's arm pierced straight through his chest, lifting him into the air.
Then she flung him aside with a violent jerk.
