Chapter 6 - Infiltration

Gently, Adam extricated himself from their embrace and stood up.

The goddesses stirred the moment they sensed the absence of his touch. As they slowly woke up from their sleep, Adam paid them no mind and dressed himself back into his old robes.

"Have you decided what to do?"

Without a moments hesitation, the three goddesses knelt before him and promised.

"Our lord, from this moment on, we belong to you entirely."

Conquering their bodies and minds, while filling them to brim with his seed had really yielded amazing results.

Adam straightened his back and smiled brilliantly at hearing them call him "my lord."

"I cannot just accept your words, you know? You will need to prove your devotion to me in the coming days."

"Our lord, what is your command?"

"I want a complete list of all gods and goddesses in the realm. I want all their names, divine palaces, duties, powers, every bit of information you can find."

Adam new far too little about this new realm. He needed to know about all the gods that posed a great danger to him.

And more importantly, he needed to know about the friendlier ones, the ones he could potentially turn to his side.

And of course, those he would target to mate with for the purging of the nanites.

The three goddesses didn't disappoint. In a but a few moments they had compiled the list into a single glowing dot that floated above the tip of Thallo's finger.

She flicked it forward and it sunk into the space between Adam's eyebrows.

Adam could feel a surge of information rushing into his mind.

Happy at his request being fulfilled, he gently pulled the three goddesses into his embrace and kissed each of them strongly in the lips.

"This act means you have forsaken Zeus and pledged yourselves to me. Are you certain about this?"

"We are certain!"

There was not hesitation or doubt in their voices, and their warm, smitten gazes conveyed endless affection and yearning.

Adam was not surprised; it was like this even in his old world: No woman could remain unmoved after gazing upon his true face.

Even immortal goddesses were no different.

"The three of you were servants of Zeus, yes?"

"Yes, every major god on Mount Olympus has several minor gods serving them.

However, Zeus is the god with the most minor god servants in the palace.

We too served as his attendants."

"I see . .

Well then, you may return to your post and resume your duties, but be careful that he does not take any extra notice of you."

"Now come here."

The yearning in their eyes congealed into lust as Adam sunk his palms Into their robes and carresed ever inch of their bodies. He then pressed his lips against theirs, his tongue invading mouths as his fingers snuck into their secret gardens.

"Mhmmmhf!"

After finally parting from the three goddeses, Adam returned to his hut to find something amiss.

"Lena, why do I feel like someone was here. Please perform and optical holograph scan of the entire hut."

"Performing optical holograph scan....."

Having survived many dangerous situations and several close encounters with death, Adam had developed an almost inhuman level of sensitivity.

And past mistakes had taught him not ignore the faintest hint of danger, no matter how insignificant it seemed.

A deep omnidirectional cyan light flower out of ring and touched upon every corner of the chamber. The light was thorough as it touched upon every hidden corner or forgotten place.

Then before Adam's scrutinizing gaze, Lena constructed a holographic model of the inside of the hut.

"Scan complete. . "

"Anomaly detected... caution is advised..."

Adam's eyes narrowed as he noticed the anomaly Lena was talking about.

The floor of the hologram had several glowing footprints: places Lena had sensed a foreign presence.

"My scanners have detected several places where an unknown presence has been noticed. The intruders Movements suggests that they knew you were here and were trying to find you."

"There are still a few minutes before sunrise is complete. I suggest my lord leaves under the cover of darkness and finds another dwelling. Perhaps one more remote?"

"No, we are moving our plans forward. But you are right when you say that we can no longer stay here.

I geuss it as a good thing that those three found me before this intruder did."

———————————

Moments turned into hours as the sun brightened over the sky.

Spirits of wind and light filled the dome of Mount Olympus while servants took up their roles and gods began their duties.

In the great palace of the Olympians where a great many servants hurried about to complete their given tasks...

"Hey newbie, why haven't we seen you around here before?"

"Yeah, did you get posted here recently or something?"

The two individuals before him were named Dionis and Basil. They were both Anemoi (wind spirits): The children of Astraeus (god of dusk) and Eos (goddess of dawn).

And like all other wind spirits, they served Zeus.

"I am indeed a new arrival. My father is an old earth spirit who owes lord Zeus a great debt. I was brought here and instructed to serve to best of my abilities. Since the two of you are my seniors, please dont hesitate to instruct me."

The two wind spirits were surprised. It was very rare for even a new servant to humble themselves to this extent before other servants. They suddenly found this strange youth very pleasing to the eye.

"Hahaha, don't worry about it. We rarely meet any new arrivals as well behaved as you. We will definitely help you as much as we can." Dionis said as he gave Adam a large pat on the back.

"Besides with your demeanor and grace, its only a matter of time before you distunguish yourself within the palace. Not to mention, you are quite easy on the eyes. I'm sure it won't be long before one of the great Olympians takes notice of you."

"When that happens, dont forget the two of us Hahahaha."

Adam smiled wryly.

He had to admit: their warmth and earnestness had touched him a little bit.

"That's only natural. After all, we are brothers who serve in the palace together. How could we I forget what my good brothers have done for me?"

Basil and Dionis were even more surprised and impressed with Adam now. Such a warm and kind presence. He was also graceful in his speech and obviously very intelligent, however not a single iota of arrogance accompanied that grace.

"But as of this moment I do require some help" Adam admitted.

"Oh, and how may we help you?" Basil asked with a slight smile.

"Nothing too demanding. I just heard strange rumors of a goddess named Eris. And I was curious . . ."

"The goddess of chaos and strife?"

"Yes."

The two wind spirits had clearly been in a the palace for a very long time. After serving for so long, they no doubt new many of the palace affairs and were familiar with most of the gods.

To Adam, they were currently the best source of information.

"Sigh .. .her story is a long one.

And it begins not with her, but her mother: Nyx

One of the first primordials to be born form Khaos. And the only goddess Zeus ever feared; for her power was far greater than even his.

But the more she terrified him, the more he desired her.

And his desire, left unfulfilled for millenia, grew into an intense obsession.

And so one day, he sought the help of the great elder cyclops to forge dark Chains that could bind even the personification of night.

And then during the summer solstice, when all the gods of the realm unite on Mount Olympus to discuss the fate of the realm, he tricked the unsuspecting Nyx Into being alone with him, and then. . . .

You can probably geuss what happened next.

Eris was born as a result, and In the next thousand years she matured into the goddess of Chaos and strife; she became almost as powerful as her Nyx was.

But Nyx never once saw her, or allowed Eris into her domain. After all, she hated her just as much as she hated Zeus.

And Zeus was even worse. Fearing his own daughters strength he laid cursed mark on her that restricted her powers and bound her eternally to Mount Olympus as a trophy of his conquest.

In name, she is a proud goddess like the others, but in reality, her life is perhaps even more miserable than the lowest of servants:

Stripped of her freedom and forced to wallow in the palace eternally without purpose."

'What a f*cked up story!' Adam thought.

Everything he heard about something Zeus did, it just got worse and worse. And this time. . .he actually set up an elaborate scheme over the course of several millenia just so he could get his rocks off.

Adam had to hand it to him: he could at least respect Zeus's dedication. The man definitely had his priorities straight.
