Yang Chan hadn't expected to hear such news during his trip to Chiyu Peak. It was slightly different from what he had anticipated.
The matter of Alchemy was within his expectations, but he hadn't foreseen Quasi-Saint Son Gongye Zhe's methods of retaliation. He also happened to learn some secrets about the Genius Pharmacist Yuwen Ze and some of the Merak Saintess's tactics.
'Some people appear glamorous, but their methods are utterly ruthless. Yang Chan actually approved of this. If someone were to endanger him, he would stop at nothing to eliminate them.'
'Since Yuwen Ze was in the Merak Sacred Land Pill Pavilion, making him difficult to kill, they simply restricted his path to becoming a Top Level Pharmacist.'
'As for making an enemy of him, the moment Yuwen Ze chose to support the Merak Saint Son, he was standing in opposition to the Merak Saintess. Naturally, she wouldn't allow him to rise quickly and leave behind a major hidden threat.'
