Watching Naomi Kenway walk away, Chelsea Raines scratched her head. "She's so damn neurotic, always ruining a good night's sleep!"
Snores erupted from beside her. Jared Woods was fast asleep.
Just as Chelsea Raines was about to lie down again, she heard another set of footsteps outside. This time, it was the production crew, their voices urgent. "Ms. Raines, we need to get out of here, fast!"
'The production team wouldn't be joking about this.' Chelsea Raines started to panic. Before she could even react, a crew member was pulling her out of the tent and forcing her to run, while a sturdy staffer hoisted Jared Woods over his shoulder and took off with him.
They only stopped after putting some distance between them. Jared Woods was still snoring; unbelievably, he hadn't woken up.
A massive thudding sound reached them, both deep and piercing. It was a noise no human could possibly make.
Chelsea Raines glanced back.
