Watching Naomi Kenway walk away, Chelsea Raines scratched her head. "God, she's so neurotic. Always ruining a good night's sleep!"
Next to her, a loud snore erupted. Jared Woods was fast asleep, snoring away.
Just as Chelsea Raines was about to lie down again, she heard another set of footsteps outside. This time it was the staff, their voices sharp with anxiety. "Ms. Raines, we have to get out of here, quickly!"
The production crew wouldn't be joking around. A wave of panic washed over Chelsea Raines. Before she could even react, a staff member was dragging her out of the tent, forcing her to run. Another sturdy crew member had hoisted Jared Woods over his shoulder and was also running.
After getting some distance away, the group finally stopped. Jared Woods was still snoring, having somehow not been woken up by the commotion.
A tremendous trampling sound carried over to them—dull, yet piercing. It was definitely not a sound a person could make.
Chelsea Raines glanced back.
