Clara Grant answered the call. Before she could even speak, Seth Quinn's deep, chuckling voice came through the phone. "Darling, what are you up to?"
Even though she knew her mother couldn't hear, a faint blush still crept onto Clara Grant's face. 'This man...' He was losing more and more of his former cold and aloof demeanor around her. It was as if his lips were constantly coated in honey, sweet nothings spilling out at a moment's notice. She was still having some trouble getting used to it.
Clara Grant instinctively glanced at her mother before turning slightly away. "Nothing much," she said. "Are you free now?"
Skylar Hayes smiled at her daughter, then got up to busy herself with other things, giving the young couple some space to talk privately.
Seth Quinn hummed softly in agreement. "You can come back to the city tomorrow. I'll have Chase Childs pick you up."
