Nancy Nash screamed and jerked her head to the side. The descending fork plunged directly into the crack between the floorboards.
It was a clear sign of just how much force Julia Keane had used.
Nancy Nash's eyes widened in terror. While Julia Keane was trying to yank the fork out, she shoved her aside and continued to run, dragging her leg.
As she ran, Nancy Nash screamed, "Jameson, save me! I'm begging you! For the sake of our marriage, please, save me!"
However, her cries for help were met only with Jameson Valerius's cold indifference.
Nancy Nash glanced back to see Jameson Valerius's cold, callous face, and despair began to set in. Turning her head again, she saw a crazed Julia Keane had already yanked the fork out and was once again chasing after her.
"I'll kill you! You shameless bitch!" Julia Keane shrieked, her eyes bloodshot as she chased Nancy Nash.
"Somebody, help me! Save me!" Nancy Nash screamed in despair as she saw Julia Keane about to catch her again.
