Chains of Adversity

Karim Forchester, a 20 year old college student that somehow found himself meeting with a Goddess alongside nine other people. The Goddess asked all of them to variables to the world She created and help it propell into a new era as She found Her current world boring. If they could help Her create a new era in Her world, they would be able to bring back anything they gained in that world back to Earth. Confused and scared, Karim refused the offer and told the Goddess to bring him back home. Which was a mistake. The Goddess agrees. The other nine people didn't refuse her offer and they were sent to the world that the Goddess showed, and Karim? The Goddess told him that even she couldn't reach out to Earth again, due to constraints and the rules of a certain "Being" which blocked access to their Cosmic Plane. So the Goddess gave him a choice. Either stay here and become a servant until the Goddess could find a method to bring him back, or to go inside the world and be a variable instead. Left with no choice, Karim chose to be sent into the world. His second mistake.
