A powerful surge of magic power erupted from Kael, causing the sky to instantly turn pitch black. Black rain began to pour from the heavens.
The icy black droplets landed on the faces of the Oracion Seis, but they didn't feel wet.
"Black rain?"
"No... this isn't real rain. This is liquefied magic power."
Soon, the phenomenon in the sky vanished.
Kael's appearance changed once more. A pair of black, bat-like wings sprouted from his back, his body draped in a long white robe, and a dual-horned helmet rested on his head.

A sword of moonlight flickered into existence in Kael's hand—a weapon formed of magic particles resembling a javelin. It could be thrown or used for close-quarters slaughter.
His gaze remained indifferent as he looked at the group. "Don't waver. Hold your stance. Keep your nerves tight. Don't let up for even a second."
"Stop acting so high and mighty!"
"Poison Dragon's Twin Fang!!"
Cobra couldn't stand Kael's dismissive attitude and struck first. Venom swirled around his hands before he lashed out violently toward Kael, forming massive, black-red claw marks in the air.
"In a blur!"
Kael used Sonído, his body flickering instantly behind Cobra. The moonlight sword slashed down.
Rip!
"Gwahhh!"
The moonlight sword carved into Cobra's flesh. He let out a strangled scream as his body was sent hurtling away.
"Liquid Earth!!"
Hoteye pointed his finger at the ground. The earth and the surrounding structures quickly softened into liquid, forming a massive wave of mud that surged toward Kael with a roar.
Kael raised a finger toward Hoteye.
Black magic gathered rapidly at the tip of his index finger, forming a small black sphere that compressed violently.
"A black beam!"
Shuuu—!!
A massive, wide-range beam of black light tore through the air.
BOOM—!!
The wave of mud was instantly punched through by the Cero Oscuras, which continued its path straight toward Hoteye.
"Uwaaaaaa!!"
The black light swallowed Hoteye whole.
Shua!
Gemini, still transformed into the Racer copy, flickered behind Kael and drove a kick toward his head.
"Sonído!"
Kael's silhouette vanished instantly, leaving Gemini's kick to hit nothing but air.
Rip!
A massive gash appeared across Gemini's body.
"Agh!"
Bang!!
Gemini let out a pained cry before dissipating into smoke. As a Celestial Spirit, even if the copy was "killed," the spirit would simply reform in the Celestial Spirit World.
"Dark Capriccio!"
Brain unleashed magic. A spiraling, dark green magic beam lunged toward Kael. It was a piercing dark magic, powerful enough to easily bore through solid steel.
Kael sensed the danger in the magic and swiftly swung his moonlight sword, parrying the beam and forcing it off course.

A nearby building was instantly punctured, a hole torn through its stone walls.

Angel raised her weapon in her hand, preparing to fire a magic beam.

In the next heartbeat, Kael appeared directly in front of Angel.
"Magic beam!!"
Angel fired the beam immediately.
A golden magic beam shot straight toward Kael.
Kael didn't dodge. He raised his left hand, using his palm to take the beam directly.
"You've got to be kidding me!"
Angel's pupils shrank. Real or fake? He was tanking a laser with his bare flesh. Was she seeing things, or was she still dreaming?
Kael stepped through the beam and reached Angel, his hand clamping down on the weapon.
Crack!!
Kael's grip crushed the weapon into pieces.
"Wait... Wait a second! I surrender! I surrender!!"
Angel immediately threw her hands up in terror. Was this a joke? If she had known this guy was such a monster, she never would have provoked him.
Rip!
Kael swung the moonlight sword, slashing directly through Angel without a hint of mercy.
"Waaaaah!!"
Angel screamed as she collapsed to the ground.
"Gah!"
Brain felt a sharp pain in his mind as another mark on his face began to fade.
"Swamp!!"
The ground beneath Kael turned into a bog, causing his body to sink.
"Nice work, Hoteye!"
Cobra flew into the sky aboard the purple snake. He took a deep breath, condensing magic power in his lungs.
"Poison Dragon's Roar!!"
"Cero Oscuras!"
Kael raised his finger and fired the black beam.
The pitch-black Cero Oscuras collided with the black-red Poison Dragon's Roar. A massive sphere of light seemed to materialize in the sky.
BOOM—!!
A violent explosion erupted between them.
Rumble—!!
The powerful shockwave decimated the surrounding ancient architecture.
As the smoke cleared, Kael stood firmly in place, his gaze calmly fixed on the remaining members of the Oracion Seis.
"This guy..."
Brain and the others looked at Kael with grim expressions. This was becoming a massive problem.
"Kael!!"
At that moment, a voice rang out.
Kael turned to see Erza, Natsu, and the trio from Lamia Scale appearing together.
"You're finally here!"
Jura said, "My apologies, Kael. We are late."
As an alliance, they hadn't been able to help much, which made him feel somewhat ashamed. Lyon and Sherry stared at Kael in wonder; they had never seen this particular transformation before.
Kael waved them off. "No worries. You're not late. You're just in time."
"Huh? Aren't those the Oracion Seis? Where are the other two?"
Lucy noticed that the Oracion Seis seemed to be missing two members.
"Oh, those two? I already took care of them."
"..."
Silence fell over the group. There were six in total, and Kael had already taken out two. Looking at the scene, even the remaining four seemed to have two wounded members.
If they had arrived any later, would Kael have beaten the entire Oracion Seis? Looking at his relaxed demeanor, the possibility felt extremely high.
"Kael! Leave that bastard to me!!"
Natsu pointed at Cobra and shouted. They had encountered Cobra earlier, only to be toyed with before he escaped, which had left Natsu fuming.

Happy immediately took Natsu into the air, flying toward Cobra.

Erza pointed at Hoteye. "Then I'll deal with him!"
She had seen the clash between Jura and Hoteye earlier. Their magics countered each other, but Hoteye actually had a slight edge over Jura, preventing Jura from exerting his full power.
Jura looked at Brain. "Then I will handle him!"
He had originally intended to finish his duel with Hoteye, but since Erza had volunteered, he would take on Brain.
"Hmph! You guild maggots—aside from Kael, you're all nothing. Kael, don't think you've won just yet. Until the very last moment, the outcome remains undecided!"
"Midnight!"
Brain pointed his staff toward Kael and the others, shouting, "Kill every last one of them! Leave no one alive!!"
Midnight, who had been sitting on the magic carpet, slowly opened his eyes.
"Yes, father."
