"Ka-haa!" Fuuko took a deep breath as she was resuscitated on the boat.
"*cough cough!"
"Good, she's alive." Lily spoke as Andy pat Fuuko's back, making her cough up all the water.
"Huff huff... wasn't I pinned under the boat?" Fuuko wiped her mouth.
Both got up and Andy raised his hands, and Fuuko copied his actions.
"I'll explain later." Andy put it off.
A jet flew over the group.
"Undead, do you intend surrender?" A voice came over the speakers.
"You betcha!" He yelled back much to the surprise of Fuuko.
"Huh? Really?"
"No I'm buying time." He looked to Fuuko with a smile, "For my little experiment."
"Weather your unluck can be controlled or not!"
"You can't be serious!" Fuuko objected, "Of coursed it can't! That's why I have issues in the first place!"
"You can't control it at will, that's why I got a little hypothesis goin'."
"Huh?"
"All the unluck that happened around you, from the lightning haircut, to the meteor, what is something they all have in common." He asked her.
"They used stuff from far away?" She hesitatively answered.
"EXACTAMUNDO!" He yelled, "You forcibly pulled in things from far away!"
"From the haircut, to the kiss! They all had great personal value for you!" He pointed out, "And the material needed proportionate to output those strokes of unluck was nowhere nearby!"
"So you see... For this one, I found a source that'll produce unluck proportionate to the value."
"And if my hunch is right, it's going to be one doozy of a-"
"Huh, this one?" Fuuko was confused and looked down at her clothes, noticing an anomaly.
"Why is my bra pushed up!" She immediately tried fixing it in a panic.
"From the heart massage of course." He answered as if it was obvious.
"Your melons were getting in the way so I slid your bra over to the side." Fuuko was red at this point.
"And that's all you did right?" She asked in a quite voice.
"I did it." Andy cut off her running thoughts.
"Did what?"
"Mouth to mouth."
Fuuko was utterly stunned and looked to Lily for answers.
"whistle whistle." She was just saying whistle, not whistling, as she looked away
"N-N-NOOOOO-!"
*BOOOM*
The water under the boat suddenly exploded the group upwards to the jet as they landed on it.
Andy quickly took the chance while the driver was confused the use a repair-boosted sword slash to the cock-pit, killing the pilot.
"Was that an underwater volcano!?" Fuuko asked in surprise.
"You bet." He put the sword in his arm.
"How was that move? It was a slash that was boosted by my arms repair powers." He put Fuuko down.
"I made sure not to damage the cock-pit, so this puppies ours!"
"Y-your arm-"
"Eh it's fine, I aint got a sheath for this thing." He pat her head.
"How'd you like that?" He gave an incredulous smile, "Seems like all we've gotta do is find a source for your unluck and get a sense as to what each will do and we're in business."
"Your strokes of unluck aren't just accidents, they're trump cards!"
"Now all we've got to to is get this going!" He plopped himself and Fuuko into the cock-pit.
'What about Lily?" Fuuko asked as she notice they were about to leave.
"..." Both looked out and saw splashing water... it was Lily in the middle of drowning.
"Didn't see that one coming." Andy looked as Lily started sinking.
"Aren't you gonna save her!?" Fuuko was panicking, watching her friend.
"Yeah, but after that we're goin to our objective!" He got up to fetch the girl.
-at lake Baikal-
A jet flies overhead, beeping ominously.
*KABOOM*
A few people fell from the explosion, it was Fuuko and the others.
"Why did it explode!?" Fuuko yelled as they were falling.
"Well duh. Probs cuz they found out we nabbed their jet!" Andy yelled as he caught her in his arms.
"What are you smiling about!?" She complained, "Can't you see we're falling!"
"No biggie! I've got a technique up my sleeve from my mercenary days!" He lifted her overhead, "we're going to stick the five-point landing!"
"Five point landing!?" Fuuko clearly didn't trust him to pull it off but didn't have much of a choice as the ground rapidly approached their location.
Lily floated down and watched as Andy proceeded to land on his feet-*crick, calves-*crack, butt-*crack, back-*crack, and finaly on his feet properly... with another crack.
"Success..." He mumbled as he lay, bloodied with limbs all in the wrong directions.
"I could've sworn you said "suck it" at the end." Fuuko said as he helped him up.
"No I said "success", anyway we landed." He said as he healed himself up.
"Huh?" Fuuko was confused but didn't say anything as Lily landed softly to the ground.
"Be sure to watch your head, our mark may be around." He said ominously as Fuuko to the beautiful lake.
""Wow!"" She and Lily mimicked each other.
"Welcome to lake Baikal, the worlds deepest, clearest, and oldest fresh water lake." Andy fully healed at stood behind the girls.
"Apparently folks from the organization are gonna be here investigating an UMA..."
"Well, this is a likely spot for an UMA to hide out, truth be told."
"I have no experience in this matter so I'll trust your word on it." Lily said as she stretched.
"It's huge and so pretty!" Fuuko was practically shining, "I guess there's more to the wold than Japan!"
"First time overseas?" Andy asked the girls and they both nodded vigorously.
"Uh huh! I used to be a bit of a shut-in!" Fuuko answered.
"And I was a corporate slave." Both stared at her, noticing her figure.
"What! It's true! I'm just short!" She complained.
"Pft- Whatever, because it's ya'lls first time on a vacation, go do some sight-seeing." Andy laughed as he pat their backs.
"Huh!?" Fuuko yelled out in surprise.
"What? The Union won't attack with all these tourists around." Andy comforted, "Operating in secret is more their style."
Andy started walking away, "I'm gonna go and fetch some weapons and find my war buddies, might need em'."
"We'll each fly solo for a bit."
"Um-um. Wait a second!" Fuuko called out.
"What's up?" He looked back.
"About us joining the ten..." Fuuko started asking but-
"I'ma stop you right here." Lily put a hand on her shoulder.
"It's kill or be killed, compassion can be good and all." Lily walked to her front, "But only if you're strong enough to support it."
"Y-You can help though?" Fuuko looked saddened, "R-Right?"
"I won't answer that." She shook her head, "But I will help you get stronger, enough to beat this game."
"Enough of this, any foods you're keen on?" Lily switched the topic.
"One of the buddies I know runs a killer restaurant!" Andy cut in, "You've got to try their borscht!"
"I'll hurry over there!" Andy started running off, for realls this time, "You're on your own till then!"
Fuuko watched speechlessly as he ran off.
"Cmon, let's check out the lake and have some fun." Lily comferted, "Some fun and calm before the action, yeah?"
"Sure... But I don't know Russian." Fuuko agreed and they started walking the beach, occasionally being hit on, but a mean stare from Lily shook them away.
Soon, as they walked, a girl in a, sort of, Japanese school uniform painting the lake.
Lily glanced at her looks, narrowing her eyes in suspicion, but Fuuko ran over anyways, so she decided to play along with her.
