Nora's POV
I bolt upright, clutching the towel wrapped around my body just in time. "What the hell are you doing here?" I hiss through gritted teeth, staring at Hugo as he emerges from the darkness like some twisted nightmare.
My uncle. The actual Devil. Standing in my bedroom like this is perfectly normal.
He claims I'm somehow visiting Hell through astral projection, which sounds completely insane. Yet here he is, and I can't shake the feeling this isn't just another weird dream. Everything feels too real, too vivid.
He did send me Zerra when I desperately needed her against that demon. He taught me that two-word exorcism that actually works. And surprisingly, he hasn't tried manipulating me to get back into Heaven's good graces.
"Is that how you greet your favorite uncle?" He steps fully into view, smoothing down his black suit jacket. Every inch of him screams danger, from his all-black attire to those unnaturally bright eyes.
"You're my only uncle," I snap back.
