"I'll attempt restraint, though I can't guarantee success." Our lips meet briefly before I muster the willpower to stand and head toward the door, my three familiars and Zerra trailing behind me. While my cats never pose any challenges, Zerra proves to be somewhat irritating during car rides, reinforcing exactly why I prefer felines over canines.
