Slowly waking up, I try to make sense of my surroundings. Why is my vision dark? And why is there a blue tint to it?
Waking further up I try to reach for anything around me.

I think I should go back to sleep… this isn't such a bad place to be, yknow? But as I'm about to get myself comfortable and close my eyes again…
"Joey? Wear ar u Joey?" I hear Invs muffled voice above me, worriedly calling my name.
While I'm glad he's worried about me, I REALLY don't want to move…
"J-joey?? W-war u go?" Listening to Inv's shaking voice I let out a small sigh to myself. I don't want to worry Inv due to me being comfortable…
With reluctance… I start patting what I believe is Inv's thigh.

Soon after my vision starts to brighten compared to the dark blue tint I was getting used to. Come on man… why can't I just comfortably be sat on?

'Wow, that's a weird thought'
"J-Joey?! I-i sory! I didn kno u wer dere…" Inv says as he looks down at me with a worried but embarrassed look.
"It's alright Inv… I wasn't hurt or anything" I say as I slowly pick myself up. Ready to start another cycle-

'Where the hell are we?' Finally getting up and looking around, I notice we're not in the shelter but some… strange room??
Then it all comes back to me. The System voice saying something about a milestone event in the soul space then sucking me and Inv into some strange vortex…
"Joey… du u kno wear we ar?" Inv asks with a voice of concern. Gently sitting himself down next to me.
"I… I don't know Inv… whats the last thing you remember?" I ask Inv, wanting to know if he remembered what happened as well.
"Umm… i wen tu slep en da dark plac… den wok up an goat puled entu somting?" Inv responds with. The events lining up to what I remember as well.
Looking around us, I immediately realize this is nothing at all like what you would see in Rain World. Right now me and Inv are both in a small room with no decorations. There being no exits as well…
The only thing in this room is what me and Inv are currently on…
'What is this?' I think to myself as I'm finally aware that what we're currently sitting on is… really comfortable…
It's been so long since I've sat or laid on something that was so comfortable… besides Inv.
Names for pieces of furniture from my old world start to appear in my mind…
'Well… it's definitely not a bed… it's some kind of chair. It's a pretty big chair as well…' I try to rack my brain for what this thing is called…

'A Love Chair! That's why there's enough space for me and Inv…' I remember the name for it. Finding it ironic that we would be placed on something with such a name…
"Joey… wut du we du?" Inv says beside me, worry still in his voice.
"I… uh… I don't think we can do anything Inv… but I don't think we're in danger" I tell him, trying to calm him down.
If the system really wanted to hurt us I don't think it would throw us both on a love chair…
If whatever this milestone event is, is related to this… then all we can do is wait for it to say something I guess?

A feeling of mischeviousness slowly rises in me. When will be the next time I get to lay on a love chair with Inv like this? Even if we're both souls or something right now. I won't miss this opportunity! It will also probably calm Inv down…
Enacting my plan I scoot closer to Inv. basically rubbing my fur against his.
With a bot of surprise Inv looks down at me to his side.
"J-joey?"
"Calm down Inv, I'm not really sure what's happening right now but I don't think it's anything bad…" I push myself further into Inv's fur. Our skin now touching.
"Besides… we now have more time to ourselves~"
"U-umm… ye… i gess we du?" Inv says back, his expression noticeably calming down.
With my assurance Inv also starts to slowly relax into me. With the love chair to our backs it's much easier for us to get comfortable next to each other like this. Of course I gotta make sure my tail isn't getting smooshed but it still works!

Over time, Inv starts getting more comfortable with the situation and slowly starts putting his arm around me. I can tell he's being careful while doing this which makes me chuckle a bit to myself. I know I'm small but I'm not that fragile…
Fully wrapping his arm around me, I feel him pull me closer to him. Which I willingly let him.
'My heart is not totally beating fast right now. I'm cool! I'm cool…'

'Pff… this dork…' Feeling Inv's purrs vibrate next to me makes me not want to move at all. This is genuine bliss right now. Just sitting here with Inv… enjoying this moment…

I still have no idea why souls can purr. It literally makes no sense. But I'm not an expert on souls so I wouldn't know anyways…
Looking up I speak to Inv.
"Hey Inv…"

"You like what we're sitting on right now?" I ask Inv, curious if he likes the chair. If he likes it a lot maybe I can invest in something like this in the future…
"Ye i du… i nevr felt somting dis comfy befor… i su usd tu sleping on da flor…" Inv says as he looks down at me.
"I see… maybe I could get something like this in the shelter in the future… would you like that?"
"Weally? Ef u can dat wud b nice…"
Hearing Inv's answer I will definitely keep that in mind. Maybe a bed would be a better fit though… it would definitely give us alot more room to… do things…

Feeling a certain heat rise in my chest… I raise my paw up and put it onto Inv's side, slowly rubbing the fur.
"Yknow Inv… it's just the 2 of us here… alone…"
"Y-ye?" Inv stutters.
"Mhm… just the 2 of us…" I say as I slowly pick up the pace of my rubs.
I can see Inv's skin start to slowly turn to a deep red from my words. Knowing that he's catching on to what I'm saying.
Feeling slightly smug at the moment. I stop my rubbing and start gently pushing his side. My intent with him to lie down on the love chair.
Hearing an audible gulp come from Inv he slowly moves down onto the chair. Lying down on his back. Himself and his tail now basically taking up most of the space on the love chair…
"Hmmm… there's nowhere for me to sit now Inv… you won't mind if i…" As I'm saying this I slowly climb onto Inv's stomach.
"Lay down right here, do you?"
"N-nu…u ca lay dere…"
"Oh? Thank you… but…" I slowly crawl up to Inv's chest. I can feel his chest breathing much faster than usual. Which again, is weird since we're souls but besides that point…
Laying on top of Inv's chest, my face is above his.
"Its much more comfortable right here~" I quietly say above Inv's face. Our lips so close to each other…
My mind is starting to turn more blurry at the moment. Really getting into the moment…

Feeling one of Inv's arms wrapping around me practically locking me in place. My curiosity beats me and I start lowering my lips towards his. Inv himself also looking like he wants to do the same thing…
