"EEK!" I bolt right out of Inv's arm! Or at least try to but Inv's arm keeps me in place.

"W-woa!" Inv also urgently gets up in the chair. While still holding onto me…
Seeing what Inv is seeing, I watch in amazement as I see something like a screen descend from the ceiling. Like a very huge tv screen being held by a metal like robot arm? Sort of like an iterator…
The strange screen descends in front of both me and Inv. enough distance away from us to easily look at.
'First the love chair, and now a tv… what the heck is going on?! I was just about to make out with Inv on a love chair!! LET ME HAVE MY MOMENT!!!'
"W-wa es dat Joey?!"
"It's uh… a tv? It won't hurt us Inv" I say as I'm being held like a doll in Inv's arms.
"Nothing will happen to us here Inv… I'm not sure why but my ability took us here for some reason…"
"Yur abiwity? So no hur us?"
"Yeah, it won't hurt us" I say to Inv, hoping I'm right that it won't hurt us. I see no reason for the system to hurt us at least…
"Let me get beside you Inv" I say, wanting to get a better look at the strange tv.
"O-oh sory…" Inv lets his arms wrapping around me go.
Quickly going back to Inv's side and snuggling next to him, I look at the tv. Seeing words on the screen similar to what my system screen looks like.
"Joey… al i se ar whit swcibbles…"
"I know Inv. I'll tell you what it says when I read it myself" Responding to Inv. I read what is said on the screen.

Congratulations on making it this far Joseph Sprot! After many grueling years of constant death and no clear goals, you've finally set your sight towards something! A Goal!
Beings from beyond your comprehension wish to help you along your journey! Knowing that you are currently at a stand still when it comes to any sort of progress.
This Event will give you the advantage you need to push your goals along! This event will reward you in the form of Karma points! Knowing that you are currently in the negatives when it comes to karma points, all karma points acquired from this event will automatically be put on as credit at any trading post.

Reading aloud on what was on the screen. I stare dumfounded. This… is crazy…
In my dumbfoundness, I hear Inv ask a question.
"Joey, y du u hav 2 nams???"
"H-Huh? I don't have 2 names Inv. That's my last name" I say to Inv, somehow feeling flattered that out of all of that, he picked up on my last name…
"Las… nam?"
"Umm… yeah, a last name. Like-
Before I can explain to Inv what a last name is, the screen turns to another flash of words.
"Hold on Inv" I say as I start reading what the screen says.
Rules
You or your partner will be asked a question. Any question that is answered will reward you with 50 karma points. If a question is directed towards both you and your partner. The both of you answering the question will receive 50 karma points each.
Any memories from these questions will be erased to prevent information that you shouldn't know at the moment.
You do have the ability to not answer a question. Not answering the question however will give you nothing in return.
Questions will be displayed on screen to answer.
Reading the rules I see now why this might be a big chance for karma points! 50 points for just answering 1 question?! That's worth about 2 pearls! However… some of these rules are too vague…
"Hey Inv, you can't read whats on the screen, right?" I point towards the screen.
"Wead… umm… nu, i cant…"
"Hey system! How is my partner supposed to know what the question is if he can't read it?" I say aloud, hoping the system will respond.

'Woah! It actually responded!' I think to myself while surprised, it's rare for the system to actually respond back!

"Woa! Joey et talkd!"Inv slightly jumps in the chair pointing at the screen, holding me close to him.
"You understood that Inv?"
"Y-ye? Somting abou a ajoustmint?"
"Yeah, I think that works"
"Adjustment confirmed. Event will begin-
"Hold on! I also have something else! You said that we will get 50 points per question we answer but…" I think on how to cash out the most on this event. If earning points is determined based off on how many questions we answer… then that means!
"What if there are multiple questions inside of one question?"

Hearing this answer I clench my fist in determination! I almost lost the oppertunity to gain more karma points!
"Joey… i hav no idea wut goin on…" I hear Inv quietly say beside me. Probably extremely confused at the current moment.
"It's alright Inv… we just have to answer questions we hear from the screen. If we do, we'll get stuff that will help us alot when we wake up"
"Lik fud?"
"Uhh, I'm not sure? But trust me Inv, we may be able to get something like this in the shelter?" I say as I pat the love chair below us.
"I… i se… ok… me wil help!!" With a nod, Inv puts on a determined expression. That's what I like to see!
"Are there any other concerns to point out before we begin?"
I'm left a bit stunned by the system's question. Its so weird seeing the system display more of a personality compared to what it was like before…
"Yes, I do actually. Can we get something like a test question? So we have a better idea on how this event works?" I validly ask. I don't wanna mess something up while doing this.
"Approved. Test question will be asked now. Get ready."

"Are you awake?"
"What? How is that even a question? I mean, technically I guess we aren't awake right now? We should still be both sleeping in the shelter…"
"But we r awak righ noaw? Et bery confosing…"
"Awake or not it doesn't matter, at least I'm next to you…"
"Awww, Joey…"
Answering the question, I wonder if that's all we had to do.
"Did we answer the question like you asked?" I ask the system.
"Affirmative, valid answer. The same layout will apply when a question is only directed towards one of you. However you can still speak to add further context to an answer. This will not give you more points however. Are there any other questions before we begin?"
"Ye, i hav quesion…" I hear Inv say beside me. I turn to Inv in surprise. Wondering what he wants to ask.

"W-woah! Good thinking Inv!" I hug Inv, affectionately rubbing my head against him.

I look to Inv who also looks at me.
