Author's Note
Hello everyone,
I am the author of this book, and this language began in the simplest way possible—out of boredom.
What started as a casual experiment soon became something more meaningful. I created this language simply to learn something new and to pass the time, but before long, it became a private way for my friends and me to communicate with one another. We spoke freely, knowing that no one outside our circle could understand our words. It was playful, secretive, and surprisingly rewarding.
Over time, the language grew. Its sounds became more refined, its structure more consistent, and its character more distinct. What surprised me most was that others—people outside our small circle—began to take interest. They heard the language, saw how it was used, and wanted to learn it themselves. That curiosity is the reason this book exists.
This book is not meant to intimidate. Eldaran may sound ancient and fantastical, as if it belongs to forgotten civilizations or old myths, but it was designed to be simple, logical, and easy to learn. Every rule has a purpose, and every pattern is intentional. If you read carefully and practice patiently, you will find that the language opens itself to you naturally.
If you, the reader, are willing to learn a language born from creativity, curiosity, and a love for ancient-sounding words, then I invite you to continue. Read with care, speak the words aloud, and allow the language to live again through you.
