Chapter 101 - Using The Excalibur

"With the storm stirring the clouds, with thunder as a celebration, the legendary dragon that summons wind and rain, I, with storm, heavy rain, and thunder as a medium, descend upon the human world!"

Based on the authority of the God of Storms, Abel's Divine Words began to activate.

The wind rose and clouds surged, thunder flashed in the sky, and roars of dragons echoed through the sky.

Immediately after, three elemental dragons, embodying wind, rain, and thunder, appeared high in the sky.

Abel stood atop a dragon's head.

"I thought I could summon a true dragon, but this is still pretty good." He said, touching the dragon's horn with a smile.

Although they had flesh and blood, they were still essentially manifestations of elemental authority, and this feeling was not bad. The display of Divine Words came from his own understanding.

"Then, destroy them!"

The giant dragons formed from wind and rain plunged down, and Athena's black snakes, unwilling to be outdone, met them.

The wind dragon, the rain dragon, and the black snakes clashed fiercely, and for a time, winds howled, and rain poured down. At the same time, it was also filled with a bloody storm.

Abel looked down at the dark snakes on the ground, while Athena, on the snake's head, looked up at Abel. They ignored the battle between the snakes and dragons beside them.

"Hahaha! A mere devil dares to look down on a god!"

Athena laughed as she looked at Abel, who was looking down at her from the sky.

This was disrespect to a god!

She clenched her hand, and a bow appeared, which she then drew.

Abel did the same, holding the flames representing the sun in his hand, also drawing his bow and shooting an arrow.

Athena knew who Abel had slain. Her gaze flickered to the golden sword stuck in the ground.

If he had used the Golden Sword directly, would she have lost earlier?

Athena shook her head slightly, shaking these thoughts from her mind. The arrow in her hand, imbued with the power of darkness, shot towards Abel.

Meanwhile, Abel's flame arrow, carrying intense heat and light, whistled as it rushed towards Athena.

The two arrows met in the air, erupting in a massive energy fluctuation, with blinding light, as if intending to tear apart this entire world.

After the energy fluctuation dissipated, continuous explosions followed. Smoke billowed, obscuring vision.

The two continuously drew their bows and shot arrows at each other. Explosions continued, and smoke constantly generated.

Looking at the smoke in front of him, Abel seemed to sense something.

The golden sword was still stuck in the ground, maintaining this barrier.

So...

Abel clenched his hand, and the excalibur was pulled out.

At this moment, countless people seemed to sense something.

Inside the church.

"The Holy Sword appeared? No, it doesn't seem to be."

"What's going on? The Holy Sword is shaking as if it wants to break free."

Xenovia and Irina's "Holy Sword of Destruction" and "Holy Sword of Mimicry" began to vibrate and tried to break free. But they were held down by the two. Having already lost three Holy Swords, losing these two would be disastrous.

...

Rias and Sona felt that physiologically repulsive aura, and both frowned.

Holy Sword?

Has it already begun so quickly?

...

Inside the Golden World.

Clang!

As a crisp sound echoed in their ears, it seemed as if something had collided.

"That was close, almost got cut."

"You're really impressive."

"You too."

The excalibur in Abel's hand collided with Athena's Jet Black Scythe, beginning a struggle.

Athena looked at the Holy Sword in Abel's hand with some curiosity. "Interesting, a devil can actually use a Holy Sword. Even if you've become a Godslayer, as a devil, you shouldn't be able to withstand a Holy Sword."

Athena continued to swing the scythe in her hand, asking, "Why are you unaffected?"

At the same time, she thought to herself, 'Why would a devil use such light-based powers? First the sun's fire, then a Holy Sword.'

As the sword and scythe continuously collided, sparks flew.

Facing Athena's confusion, Abel said nothing. He couldn't very well say it was the effect of the system's reward of magical emergy, could he?

Everything was due to the balanced energy within Abel's body. The power of balance was not to be underestimated.

Thinking this, Abel leaked a trace of his balanced aura.

Athena instantly caught it. That feeling brought peace. It was as if a certain blissful balance had been achieved.

She seemed to understand. She hadn't expected the devil before her to bring such a surprise.

Seeing Athena's understanding expression, Abel knew she had figured it out. He then paused and pulled back, creating distance.

Abel pointed his sword at Athena, saying, "Athena, have you ever witnessed extreme swordsmanship?"

"What!?"

As soon as he spoke, Abel swung the excalibur in his hand, causing Athena to retreat. When Athena stabilized, what greeted her was an overwhelming net of slashes. Her pupils constricted.

If it were an ordinary sword, she wouldn't even bother to dodge, but what was before her was a net composed by the Excalibur.

In an instant, Athena thought of a way to counter it.

"My messengers, my servants, return at my summons."

As she spoke, the snakes and owl flocks that were fighting against the wind and rain appeared before Athena.

The snakes and owls turned into light and disappeared from sight, but the residual power still struck Athena. At this moment, blood splattered, the wounds deep enough to show bone.

"Athena, are you alright?"

"I am fine. My snakes represent immortality."

As she spoke, Athena's wounds healed, and she spun the scythe in her hand.

"If you want me to become your servant, this much is not enough."

"Is that so?"

Abel smiled slightly, and the excalibur in his hand disappeared, replaced by the Spear of Longinus.

Looking at the crimson weapon in Abel's hand, Athena felt a fatal threat surge into her heart.

"Round two, are you ready?"

At the same time, Liliana was flying through the sky, holding Mariya Yuri.

"Yuri, can you see?" Liliana asked.

As a Hime-Miko, Mariya Yuri could see the battle between the King and the Heretic God.

"I see!"

"How is the King now?"

Liliana was a bit anxious. She knew Abel's strength very well, but as a vassal, allowing the King to face a Heretic God alone was a dereliction of duty.

Mariya Yuri, held by Liliana, saw the battlefield. However, there were no figures of the King and the Heretic God in the battlefield, only blurred phantoms and a few sparks from collisions.

"The King is fine. He is fighting now."

"Understood."

Liliana nodded, then sped up her flight towards home.
