**Claire's P.O.V**
"Must I transfer?"
"Claire you almost burnt down the school's warehouse, would you mind explaining yourself ma'am?"
"It was a mistake, I don't even know how it happened, I just can't keep changing schools everytime, it's getting tiring" I shouted angrily as my anger slowly subsided into sobs.
"Is everything okay?, I mean in school and everything" Lucian said pulling me into a tight hug
"No it's not, I have no friends, only pixel, I mean he's a great best friend,but is it selfish to ask for more?"
"It isn't"
"I don't even know how to start a conversation anymore, I just end up smiling weirdly, people think I'm crazy" I said my tears sniffing
"i admit that Axel and I sometimes act crazy though" I laughed at my own words as i saw a little confirmation smile spread wide across his lips.
"But I want to have friends, not only Axel"
I said and then went silent.
He didn't move, didn't talk, just loosened the hug a bit before completely letting go and turning, facing his back towards me.
The silence slowly piercing through my skin.
"I'm just bad luck, aren't I?" I asked breaking the silence.
"Don't say that Claire, you aren't and can never be, it's not your fault okay?"
I just nodded.
"You can come out Muriel"
"Didn't wanna butt-in....like into your father daughter thingy" I ignored his sarcasm
"I'm sorry you always get to change schools because of me"
"You're just saying that to make me feel better, keep up the good work"
"I will, now let's eat dinner bitches, I'm fucking hungry" he said running towards the dining
"Language young man" Dad said walking towards the kitchen.
After dinner I went straight inside my room, just lay on my bed couldn't sleep, didn't want to.
I kept having these nightmares, they were becoming unbearable. Anytime I closed my eyes all I saw was me, no, something using my face, like a reflection, sitting on a pile of skulls, everywhere else was destroyed, then a lullaby will start playing from God knows where, the heavens will open and angels start descending and it will look at me and give a wicked smile.
I'll just wake up.
Remembering the lullaby, I sit up and start humming it, then I hear a knock on the door.
"Can you stop doing whatever you're doing, I'm trying to sleep here"
I just ignore him, lie down back and succumb to sleep, back to that goddamn nightmare.
**At lonesville high**
"What's up baby gal" I hear pixel say as he walks up to him
"You don't have to hide your discomfort with a fake smile, I know you too well, I'm sorry"
"You really need to stop saying I'm sorry, the school was shit anyway" he said but I just threw him the 'you really don't know how to lie' look
"I'm serious, btw it seems we're not having the same courses, I'll be heading for class, see ya"
"Whatever"
The day was as long as hell, classes were boring, not entirely though, the good part I finally get to see pixel
I got my food and rushed to where pixel was already waiting for me, then I bumped into someone
My meal splashed all over us although he was taller than me it still managed to get to his pretty face
"Sorry" I said smiling as I usually do when I'm feeling tense
Everyone's eyes were on me, he hadn't even looked up but half the cafeteria was already cursing and glaring at me
"What the fuck, can't you watch where you're go….."
He just stopped after he looked at me
His eyes were piercing my soul, they just stared right into my eyes, I couldn't know if he was enraged or whatever....
He must've thought I was ridiculous cause of my smile, I just couldn't do it.
I felt a tear slip down my eyes. On my first day I had made a mess of myself, just like I always do.
I ran out in embarrassment and at the corner of my eyes I saw pixel follow
I didn't know when u found myself at the roof of the building, a few minutes later pixel walked in with two plates of food and handed one to me
I took it and ate in silence
"You…."
"Don't bother trying to comfort me, I'm already a mess" I interrupted
"I wasn't going to, just eat slowly"
He said and I glanced at my plate, it was nearly empty.
The rest of the day was hell, I couldn't pass a group of people without them badmouthing me
Who the hell was this guy?
I walked towards my locker to see a group of people gathered there, and there was Mr anonymous, standing in between them with his locker open right beside mine
Can this day get any better
I turned back and headed to the laboratory, contemplating whether I should once again I apologize, no, that was a bad idea.
I just sat and waited for the teacher and the others to come in.
"Gooday"the teacher said walking in but got no reply, he then saw me and look at me like he was trying to remember something.
"Oh, Mrs Hudson would you mind introducing yourself?"
"I'm Claire Hudson"I said then sat down back, didn't even bother looking back.
"I'm Mr David, your laboratory teacher and supervisor, today I'll be pairing all of you into two's and whoever you are paired with will be your partner till the year runs out, this will likely be your last partner in this school"
"Oh, and Mr blackwood, I see you attended class today"
"Whooooooo" It erupted in the laboratory as I looked backwards, I saw him.
Wtf
Is he stalking me now?
I hid my face so that he wouldn't see me and tried forcing myself not to turn back and take a quick glance at him
The pairing began and I realized I was the only one left unpaired or so I thought.
"Finally Mrs Hudson and Mr blackwood, the both of you will be working together" He said then left the class
The class became silent, I turned to leave to avoid any form of verbal bullying, but he immediately blocked my path.
Shit
"Really going to avoid me all day?"
This had to be a nightmare
