In the end, aside from the lack of powerful Light Bearers, Elas's power as the World's Strongest was lacking.
If he were a Starlight rank powerhouse, he could have used sheer force to deal with the Perpetual Darkness and eliminate all the Dark Monsters. Even solving the Perpetual Darkness's corruption wouldn't be as difficult as before.
After all, Elas was a powerful light attribute mage, so if he were to become a Starlight rank powerhouse, he could just create his own sun to illuminate the Elf World and drive away the Perpetual Darkness.
In fact, Zayne could also do the same and solve the Perpetual Darkness in Main World Terra easily.
Not only could he solve the Perpetual Darkness in Terra, but he could also do the same to the Perpetual Darkness in other worlds.
The source of the apocalypse wasn't even at Divine rank, which meant that if Zayne wanted to, solving the Perpetual Darkness was easy.
